One of last 24 CVS we have. New Britain Ave is my favorite location. It is convenient and the majority of the staff is very helpful and pleasant. They do however need more staff in the pharmacy area as those few are overworked combating the long lines in that area. Front store staff always asks me if I need any assistance. The service that John, Tina, Travis, and Sheila provide goes unmatched by other staff. The store manager Dave is not the most pleasant and the store has had better management however he does see that the store is clean and well stocked. I only visit this location because of the personal relationships I've developed with the staff named above. Without a doubt, they are efficient in their daily performance. They go above and beyond with thru customer service. They are vested in the work they do. They care about the customers. They alert me to special deals and markdowns as they know I'm always looking for items for our non profit organization to purchase which helps us save money to stretch our donations. We are able to do more in service because they take time to not only alert us but even help us carry items to our vehicle. Travis has the best disposition. He can calm the most irritate person. John is extremely efficient in customer satisfaction and resolves all issues with ease. He can always be found with a warm greeting and looking to help. He is so personable. Tina knows the store like the back of her hand. If you are looking for anything she knows exactly where and it and how much stock there is. She is very kind and compassionate. Read moreThis CVS pharmacy is so poorly managed. They are always chronically understaffed. Even though this is the closest option to my house, I stopped coming here, because I can’t wait in line for 20-30min every time I need to get a script. Not to mention a lot of the time they couldn’t fill the script in a timely manner anyway. And it was impossible to reach people via phone to figure out what the issues were. But I am now writing this review because today I remembered I needed to get a COVID booster/flu shot. This place had an opening for 6pm, which worked great for me. I figured if they have an open appointment then it won’t really be the same experience as waiting for a script. Wrong. I got here 10min early as requested. And there’s literally only two people covering the entire pharmacy.i got to the counter to check in, 5min before my appt time, so not too bad. But, then had to wait almost 30min just for a quick vaccine - which I had an appt for. I am finally leaving now - 50min after I arrived. Should have just made an appt for tomorrow at a different location. Never going to give this place a chance again unless they drastically change their management style. The workers are kind and doing the best they can, but are treated so poorly - to be constantly understaffed like this is crazy. Read moreProbably the worst customer service experience I have ever encountered. When I went to the register I was not greeted. I said hi and the woman ignored me. I should have known then. When she rang up the items I did not see they rang up on sale as advertised. I asked if they were on sale? She explained they were and had an attitude about me inquiring. I said what is your name? She stated her name was Princess. I asked what the problem was as she was giving me an attitude? She said there was no problem and then suspended my order and called someone else as she was not going to help me, and called the next customer. The supervisor Travis came over. He was polite, professional, and helpful. As I explained what had occurred she continued to yell from 2 registers over and interject. This was all while other customers were present. Completely unprofessional and inappropriate. I pointed out to Travis how she was acting while he was present. She had an ever poorer attitude prior to his arrival. The General Manager was requested as I was unhappy that she continued to interject rude comments as her supervisor was present. Despite the General Manager being called he did not come as he was in a "meeting."
