Soul Bowls was a new escapade for me, and I've recently made a second successful stop there. Definitely grounds for review time.
Upon entering you're met with a comely area that's lit just right, any staff member will greet you and make you feel welcome as well as provide you with a plethora of options to make your experience one you won't forget. I chose the build-your-own soul bowl, which is perfect for me, but you could select anything on the menu and you'll be imploring yourself to go back for more. The combinations are truly like crack, like their mac-and-cheese.
Speaking of crack, you'd better get there early in the week (from my experience and the second "successful" stop), because sometimes the food item you REALLY want may run out. Read moreSoul Bowls is something I’ve been hearing so many great things about and I was not disappointed! The flavorssssss were all there and with it all being placed in the same bowl the flavors collectively had a dance party in my mouth. Overall the food is pretty good, especially considering I commute to Danbury before getting to eat and it's still tasty. This time, unfortunately I couldn't check my order, and was extremely disappointed to find instead of receiving my fried wings (extra charge) & extra order of wings (extra charge), I was given chicken bites. I certainly don't mind having to pay extra, to get what i like; I would however, at least appreciated being giving the prior notification and/or being offered the option to "wait" for my wings or having my money refunded if they had run out. Unfortunately, I just don't think this was good customer service. 3rd time they say is the charm, but sadly this was not a...
