Max & Lily's Closet — Local services in West Hartford

I’m so glad I discovered Max & Lilys closet when my first daughter was born! There is always an incredible variety of clothing, shoes, baby gear, accessories and gifts (think Tiffany & Co. Piggy Banks!) The clothing is easily organized by size and style and I often score brands like Mini Boden, HA, Lilly Pulitzer, Baby Gap, Pategonia & LLBean at great prices. And more than one occasion, I have found very hard to find prints from TBBC! I’ve purchased everything from a kids trampoline, to backpacks, to books, to leotards, clothes and purses (and a lot of American Girl items in the toy department!)

The owner is so kind and gets to know repeat customers by their name. Consigning is easy and I enjoy using my credit towards purchases, but they will also send your funds quickly via PayPal. I also like that this year they have now allowed you to consign all seasons - it makes clearing out the closet so much easier! I love this place! I do almost all my kids’ clothing shopping here (and occasionally I find something for myself although that shouldn’t be possible.) The new store location is huge, clean and organized, with a great inventory. I’ve loaded up on books and toys. I’ve consigned strollers and baby carriers. They have cloth diapers, snow shoes/boots/swimsuits and really nice brands from GAP to TEA, Mini Boden, Crew Cuts, Robeez, etc. the owner and employees are friendly. Highly recommend. Great inventory and prices, friendly! Bought a nice folding high chair, as they have some furniture as well as clothes and toys and layette items. Updated review, old one was year ago. Still extremely happy with this consignment shop! It has a full range of sizes for children boys and girls. Boys items are usually hard to find in consignment shops but they have them here! As well as many toys, layette items, baby's room decor, infant items, shoes, boots, sandals, books, you name-- it they got it! Still strongly recommend this...
