The restaurant itself is a great chill spot IT HAS A BAR AND POOL TABLES and it's next to a lot of other good places to hang out, you can play pool and grab something to eat while you do your laundry (there's a laundromat walking distance away). You can also grab something to drink while you wait for your friends to show up to go bowling, just across the street there's a small bowling alley, the chicken large sized WINGS are very crispy but juicy they have LARGE size wings not those little skimpy ones, the french FRIES are also very crispy but NOT dry, the PIZZA is pretty good I loved the taste of every part of it, the SAUCE, the CRUST, the CHEESE & the SALAD I got for my uncle looked VERY GOOD! The CHICKEN on the CAESAR salad looked very CRISPY JUICY and FRESH and so does the LETTUCE itself the CROUTONS are perfectly crunchy!!! No car? Don't worry it's on the bus line you can get to SOUTH WHITNEY PIZZA AND BAR from anywhere in Harford county. GO TRY IT YOURSELF!

First time trying this restaurant, last time trying this restaurant. We picked up a cheese pizza, a buffalo chicken supreme, and a Margarita. The Margarita pizza tasted like it was made a week ago. Barely any cheese and hard as a rock. Our Buffalo Supreme was supposed to come with buffalo chicken, onions, and jalapeƱos. It had no vegetables whatsoever. The cheese pizza was ok, according to our kids. I called the restaurant to complain and was told the Margarita pizza doesn't have cheese. That's not how they should come. It should have slices of fresh mozzarella scattered all over it! The woman I spoke with told me to bring the pizzas back (a 25 minute round trip) and we could have a couple fresh ones made. I declined because we already ate other food and it was getting late. I asked to have money refunded and was told "no refunds". I said no problem, I just won't be back. I can't wait till Park Lane Pizza opens.

Back in the mid-80s we used to go bowling at the duck pen on Farmington Avenue and then run across the street to South Whitney pizza and grinder the place was awesome. I recently stepped in and immediately felt welcomed. 40 years later they now have a bar with music playing and people enjoying drinks and gathering with friends. On the other side of the partition was some tables and the kitchen where many yummy treats were being cooked. I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs with extra parmesan and extra sauce. I don't know if they kept the same recipe but I was brought all the way back to the good old South Whitney Pizza of old. The food was super hot the service was excellent and the overall feeling was like being home again. Anyone who comes to this neighborhood in the West end absolutely deserves to stop in to South Whitney pizza and grinder.

Order food a whole hour goes by I call they tell me they are running behind and it should be there any minute. Call when yet ANOTHER HOUR goes by they tell me they tried to deliver to me a hour ago (the same time I called them) and I didn’t answer. Never received any call. Driver admits on the phone that he called the wrong number said he will have them remake my food and give me a discount. ANOTHER HOUR GOES BY. I call again and they begin arguing with each other in the back while I’m on the phone. Apparently my food was left out and forgotten. Heard the man in the back shout ā€œjust give them that food sitting thereā€. Obviously I’m mad about this, no one wants to hear that they are being given food that has been sitting there for god knows how long. Mind you 3 HOURS has past since I have placed my order. I tell them to forget it and that I will no longer be ordering from them. I get a call a half hour later telling me that they remade my food fresh and if I will still like it. I ask her if it’s free or at least discounted considering I order it 3 HOURS AGO. Just for them to tell me I had to still pay full price. Are you kidding me. Yeah never order from here again. Cooked my...

Been going here forever, and they mess up on occasion but the staff recently changed to an entirely new staff besides one of the delivery drivers. They are SO RUDE. I ordered online for delivery, was charged for the delivery. Waiting for my food, and finally called and they said it was a pickup order and id be charged for delivery if they where going to deliver it. I asked for a supervisor and a women got on the phone, insanely rude to me telling me she had my receipt. I told her i also had a copy of my receipt. My order was $12. Delivery fee $1.99 plus tip for delivering was charged $18. She was yelling that it said pickup and then sent me a photo via text message and it said delivery and the charge for delivery under my name with all the other charges. Some guy finally got on the phone and said hed deliver it after i asked them to just refund me which they refused to do. I dont know who the owner of this place is but the phone number of your employee who sent me the passive aggressive text ends in 7674. Please feel free to contact me for their full number and i suggest you hire nicer people with customer...

These people are terrible, twice now they have gotten my order completely wrong after repeating it back to correctly, how does that even happen?? Their excuse is always, next time, next time. Mind you both times they also initially delivered to the incorrect address of 141 Westland St when the address was 141 Weston St after me stating that it was the Post Office, both times, they still got the address wrong after repeating the street back to me correctly and repeating the way it was spelled, and saying post office, we know, we know, so either they cannot spell, they don’t know, are not writing things down properly and in a timely manner so that they won’t forget, or they just don’t care, probably a combination of all three! I’m baffled at how you open a business in an area that is predominately English and Spanish speaking and you can barely speak English let alone properly comprehend it. The lady who answers the phone can barely comprehend English so much so that I had to ask to speak with someone else, and my order still arrived wrong! Terrible business ethics. DO NOT ORDER DELIVERY, your order...
