So I was initially attending this school after I finally got the courage to go back to school and father my education. I completed four classes only because this school has shut down on me because the board of education was not supporting the school anymore. So, I got a called from advisor telling me what’s going on and basically we automatically going to get transferred to another school who didn’t even accept my state. So, I had to seek a school on my own and I was happy and successful. I also had ask the advisor before I signed up independence university if the credits for this school will transfer to any school they told me yes. Lucky I didn’t take major classes my credits transfer. This school is an accredited not regional accredited. However, the teachers are lovely and they are so sweet and respectful. If I could give no stars I would! This "college or university" for profit school all they care about is the money. Once you graduate their so called "help you find a job" program is a joke all they tell you is look on job boards. even then they wont give you your hard earned diploma if you owe an kind of money whether it be their fees or loans. avoid this place at all cost. my associates degree in medical sciences is worthless. They also took out $28,000 in student loans out in my name with out my permission. I asked for my diploma an they sent me a bill and continue to send one. 9 years I've been graduated an still no diploma...

Lenny was rude and arrogant. I called to speak to someone regarding my account ledger I was sent from the time being enrolled. He was a Smarta** and wouldn’t even let me talk. I have several disbursements / stipends I didn’t receive and on top of that the school said I was enrolled in 2020 and never was. I matched my student loan servers and my Pell grant disbursed and it doesn’t add up ....
