The Outlaw Saloon — Restaurant in West Haven

Will not be going back to this bar after the altercation I saw last night between one of the Lady bar tenders and a young man. Around 12:30 last night this young man was sitting alone outside of the bathrooms waiting for a group of girls when I noticed this bar tender turn around and accuse this young man of vaping. Mind you I watched this altercation the entire time and not one time did this young man pull a vape out to hit it. This girl bartender with an orange belt on proceeds to raise her voice at this young man and tell him he needs to leave. After the group of girls walked out, the women started getting more aggressive and the young man felt the need to empty all of his pockets to prove that he does not even smoke. Every security guard around this bar tender was even looking at her like she was being dramatic. The bar tender got the security guards and tried to get these young kids kicked out. Mind you, this lady was already being ignorant towards other customers previous to this altercation. The security guards proceeded to tell the kids to just walk away.. now if that doesn’t tell you how often this may happen, I’m not sure what else will. If this is how women run bars, they should not be in this business. There are young children that go out to go have fun, not to be accused of things they never did. She tried to over power this young man. I will say, I’m very proud of those group of girls he was with for standing up for him against this angry women who was looking to pick issues with him. I will not be returning to this bar ever again based on the staffs terrible attitude towards customers...

Great bar, excellent, fast and friendly service. The prices are reasonable to average given the location. The food however was not very good while the prices of some items were reasonable, the quality was below par. I paid 6.50 for a hot dog that was barley cooked served in a stale bun along with a bag of chips by your choice., I find that a bit ridiculous. However, I ordered of the "weekend menu" on a Thursday... So I'm not sure if the hot dog would have tasted better on a Tuesday. But keep in mind this place is not a restaurant either, it's a bar. If you go there to have a good night out with friends, you will not be disappointed. They offer a huge dancefloor, pool tables and lots of friendly locals. On tap you'll find about 8 options for draft beer and countless bottled beer, domestic as well as import. The cocktails are made fresh, no premix, just as you would expect. Honestly I am giving 5 stars simply because they deserve it. Just bare in mind it may not be the place for a dinner date. At least in my opinion. Joe and DJ are excellent bartenders they know how to keep their costumers happy and don't fold under pressure. Service was superb. I will come back just next time...

Okay fist off I have never seen it packed like the photo above and I have been here a few times(including halloween). They have had a live band a few times they aren't bad for a cover band. The bartenders don't know how to make a drink I ordered an AMF and they added orange juice?!? It came out green....not sure who is giving that order. they also have an electric tea; Other wise known as an electic lemonade?!? Also they charge 7$ for the small drink just as much as the larger one. The waitresses are normally super nice. On one particular I couldn't even get the shot girl to come to our table because she was to interested in her friends. Also don't even think about trying to play pool because 9 times out of 10 you have some douchebag who steals the table and won't let anyone play unless you win the table from them, and then after you do he calls to play the winner after one game. They stand there all night not actually playing just waiting. Also they don't except american express but won't let the sober driver leave to go get money without paying another 5$ to get back in.
