west haven computer repair — Local services in West Haven

I left my desktop here for a few days to replace two broken ports on my desktop. I was charged nearly 20 dollars for a cleaning (even though theres no actual menu price for it), I was encouraged to pay in cash, and never even had a receipt printed. I wasn't even shown how much the part to replace it was(It was ordered online). When I came back to claim my desktop, my problem was ultimately fixed, but my wireless (wifi, bluetooth) magically stopped working. When I came back to ask what had happened, it said it "broke" (Note, my wireless was working just fine before I sent it here). But amazingly, he had just the spare driver lying around for my PCs EXACT same manufacturer. This led me to believe that he took something out when it was in his shop and sold me back my own part. I won't be returning back here after this experience.

TL;DR, Shady business with subpar...

Well I needed some copies today. I could have gone to the library but figured I owe to small businesses to give them my little bit of business. I stopped here to make a quick few copies. I had 11 pages of just black and white copies. I figured I needed two of each , so 22 black and whites would be between 3-6 bucks. He did them one at a time ( didn’t mass enter them) into an old copier. I waited patiently- Then to my surprise he told me “ that will be 11 dollars please”. Omg for black and white copies? I asked How much each and he said “ fifty cents- what? It’s 25 cents at the library now”! So much for trying a small business. I’ll go to the library...
