I recently had the pleasure of visiting State House Coffee in West Haven, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The atmosphere of the coffee shop is warm and inviting, making it the perfect spot to relax or catch up with friends.

Good day all! I have traveled too many establishments that sells both coffee grounds and has a cafe portion. This place is underwhelming. If you are looking for something that has more of a cafe bistro feel go to pistachio or coffee with a K even starbucks. The coffee was not great and you are paying cafe prices. I have gone to many cafés and this was the worse. I gave an honest review prior the owner told me to go learn English. Go figure lol! Thank you, I will passed this along to my coworkers when they ask me the best coffee in the area. Wipe my tears with my Masters and PHD lol. It is like you cannot have a different opinion. I have traveled too many countries and lived in nyc and this place and coffee was not up to par. I hoped to see the potential because I live in West Haven and most of the best Cafés are in Downtown New Haven. Another one...

Definitely stop in! This lovely quaint coffee shop serving coffees from around the globe at an incredible price point. Jason opened the shop in 2024 and has since expanded the menu from just the rotating global selection of pour-over coffees to include cold brews, chai tea, Vietnamese coffee, assorted baked offerings and more.
