After a long time, I'm writing a review is because this place really deserves a compliment. Firstly, their menu has a wide range of food selection and their customer service is extraordinary. Their food is fresh and great quality, has great flavor like homemade and they do a great job keeping the consistency. I travel a lot and visited this place and almost tried half of their menu in a week. Best of all was their onion pesarattu and vegetarian options. The food and sides were amazing (except the sambar which could be improved). I tried their chicken dishes and they were really delicious with a lot of flavor. You wouldn't believe it, the only Indian restaurant you could see open until midnight which is great. I was always worried about eating spicy food for dinner because of gastric issues, but their food has less oil and moderate spice level which is fantastic for a traveler like me. The food is affordable and not costly either, what a great spot. Overall, I would highly recommend you try this place at least once if you visit New Haven and you won't be disappointed. The dining area is kinda small but if you like authentic Indian food, I would go for it. Thanks very much for amazing customer friendly service and will definitely visit again. 🙏🙏🙏🙏💯💯💯💯❤️❤️❤️ P.s. I did try this place twice in 3 days as I visiting New Haven and yes all those food is just for...
Read moreI’ve been a huge fan of Vintage Kitchen for the past year, and I’m thrilled to report that they recently opened their very own restaurant, just a stone’s throw away from my home. My friends and I couldn’t resist the temptation to check it out, and we had an amazing time!
We started with the Mysore Masala Dosa, and let me tell you, it was absolutely incredible! It reminded me of the authentic Indian Masala Dosa I’ve had in the past. The sambhar, coconut chutney, and tomatoes chutney were all perfectly balanced and complemented the dosa perfectly.
Next up, we tried the VK Special Boneless Chicken Biryani, and it lived up to its name! The flavors were bursting in every bite, and the boneless chicken was so tender and juicy. The rice was perfectly cooked, and it tasted just like it did at Cloud Kitchen.
To finish off our meal, we indulged in a delicious banana milkshake. It was so authentic and had a presentation that felt like a real Indian milkshake, topped with a scoop of ice cream.
The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. Overall, it was an unforgettable experience, and I can’t wait to go back to Vintage...
Read moreFor delivery orders, we pay $2 to $5 each time, but the driver is so attitude & bossy. They call us to come out before they arrive, sit in their cars wont even open their car doors, and wont get out. There is no basic courtesy. This is different from Uber or Door Dash, where drivers usually bring food to the door or even upstairs if asked. And me and my known friends stopped ordering food for deliveries because of this behavior. We went for dine in couple of weeks ago and felt uncomfortable. Girl who served food made us feel like we were there for free food. A man came and we are not sure he is the chef or owner, he himself came and asked for feedback. When we gave honest comments, he went on a long narration saying that he is correct and even shared stories about other customers feedbacks. This felt bad and ruined the mood of us. Food quality has dropped most dishes taste the same. Whats worse is the attitude. They act like customers have no other option, and if you leave a bad review, owner replies with big comments as i see in the past review or even tries to get it reported that he owns set of WhatsApp groups. Genuinely liked this food before, but not anymore and many others...
