SEPHORA — Local services in West Hollywood

Big store has everything you ever needed. I got good friendly service today from small long haired girl who helped me with “fresh” skin care. I felt welcomed even I dressed in a gym clothes today ——until I went to perfume section. I got a lot of cold service and short harsh questions from 2 girls if I was doing ok. You can tell if they look down on you as the foreigner (asian) with the LOOK in their eyes that you can’t afford some items. Also one girl asks what was I saying in English. She made it sounded like I speak broken English so that annoyed her.

I went to this store last month and return an item, i told the cashier to put it in gift card and i even asked if i can use it online because i dont have a car, that's why i usually order online, and she said Yes! I even repeat it to her and she said "absolutely"! And now that i'm going to order online, i found out that the card is only in stores only. I didn't see it when she gave it to me bec we're in hurry goin to universal studios park, I'm so disappointed and frustrated with this. The stores are so far from my home that's why i always order online and i dont have a car. To the manager please tell your staff to listen carefully to your customers and inform customers properly. WONDERFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE! I work at Hot Topic across the way and I came here looking for foundation and liquid eyeliner. The lady that helped me I believe is named Andrea(she wrote it down and I still lost it 😞), dark curly hair, a little tall, anyway, she was so sweet. I was clueless and intimidated because I’ve only been to a Sephora once and I didn’t buy anything I was with a friend. I had no idea what to look for or how, normally I get typical drugstore makeup that matches me best. I always got a tint too light so I was happy to get some much needed guidance lol. She was extremely helpful in giving me different suggestions and also respectful about my budget. Prices are a little high but I the quality is worth it...
