Things From Another World is a great place to get your favorite comic titles from. If you have not been there, you should definitely check them out. The glass windows give you a taste of what they offer inside. It’s inviting to step in and explore. What you’ll find at Things From Another World is more than just comics. They have Funko Pops, trading cards, board games, figures, and more. It might take a minute to get adjusted, but once you do, you’ll feel right at home. The cool and helpful design of the store ensures that there is time to interact with and admire. From the posters above and merchandise on the shelves, they are well-organized. They even have sections designated for trade paperbacks, hardcovers, figures, graphic t-shirts, and new comics. From the outside, it doesn’t look like it will have much space, but as soon as you step in, you’ll be proven wrong. The best part of the store is that while you’re waiting in line to purchase your selections you can enjoy the large statues within the store. They are very detailed and serve as an excellent addition to the store aesthetic for new and veteran collectors. The only gripe I have with From Things From Another is that they cater to new and current titles and may have a limited amount of single back issues. Seeing as that is the only downside, Things From Another World overall is a great store to visit. You might find that...
Read moreFor first time action figures buyers I’m dissapointed in this store about how they mark up their action figures by a lot turns out I’ve never found out you cannot return figures to this store. They never Gave me a warning or nothing about that since when you purchase it they open the box so that you could see and supposedly that it’s in good condition I’m disappointed that I wasted a lot of money that what the figure is worth I’ve never returning to this store again and if you want to buy figures you could find them in Amazon or big bad toy store for better prices or just google your figure and get it from Japan or whoever is the maker you’ll probably find a good price and save you money. This is just a warning if your new to this store and just warning that you could find better prices elsewhere than here this is just a scam honestly I could’ve saved 320$ but ended up wasting it to the store but I learn my lesson and never again never returning...
Read moreThere certainly is a lot of stuff here and I feel like it definitely appeals to tourists who wanna buy some souvenirs before heading back home. But that's the thing, this place is a souvenir shop first and a comic store last. Can't really blame them but if you're looking for a real comic shop there's dozens of other local options. The only thing I'd reccomend this place for is variants and trades which they do have a lot of. As far as the figures and statues go everything here is priced pretty high. I've seen some people say the prices are good and for the life of me I don't know where they got that idea, 20 dollars for a 3 and 3/4 inch figure? Almost 50 for Neca? You can find cheaper elsewhere. I only go here when I'm going to the AMC and need to kill some time, it's does get very packed on weekends and nights so be aware of that if crowds bother you. Wouldn't really reccomend this store to anyone but that's...
