Ashe County Farmers Market — Local services in West Jefferson

The Ashe County Farmer’s Market is one of the best small town markets I’ve ever been to. I find everything I need during market season. Meat, fruit and vegetables, bread, even native plants and apple trees for my own garden, not to mention my favorite part of farmer’s markets: fantastic relationships with the people who grow my family’s food. The craft vendors are diverse and skilled so it’s a nice place to find gifts for friends or even furniture for your own house. Ashe Co. Farmer's Market is wonderful! It's so nice to go to a market where everything is handmade and locally grown. I appreciate being able to shop with locals who care about the environment and how things are raised. The artisans are amazing too... all of their work is handmade and not just cheaply manufactured junk. Are there other markets that have cheaper items? Sure... but you get what you pay for. If you want to buy local, support local, and get the best quality, you can't beat Ashe Co....

So many amazing vendors to choose from as well as fresh fruit, veggies, plants, eggs, meats, jams, honey, etc. ignore the review that had not great things to say!
