I feel bad giving this place such a low review because the girls inside working were honestly so nice. The service is great! However, I was really disappointed with the ice cream sandwich. I read online that they use local farm ice cream, like the location in Boone. I was over in West Jefferson, so I went to this location, and I noticed that a lot of their big ice cream tubs said Blue Bunny on it. I thought that the cookies were also house made so they would be fresh, but they tasted very cold and hard. maybe it was because I came later in the night so they weren’t making anything fresh anymore and were using that ice cream cream instead? Definitely not what I was looking for in a local and homemade cookie/ice cream shop, more just like something you’d get in the frozen aisle of the grocery store. Update: Thanks for the response! I really wish we would’ve known that prior to ordering considering we wanted the quality homemade ice cream advertised! I got the “bunny tracks” ice cream and when coming in, it seemed that that flavor was one of the ones from blue bunny. I guess the blue bunny container must’ve been reused, and must have had the homemade ice cream in it. I know a lot of people don’t care about this type of stuff, but I definitely only want to be going to places with high quality ingredients and...

Excellent!! I honestly do not normally like ice cream cookie sandwiches because they are hard and too messy to eat, but these cookies were amazing and soft. They give you a container to eat out of and a spoon. We went on opening day and the manager came out and asked us how it was, very friendly. Staff was excellent all around and beautiful location.
