Updated review 05/08/2022 After the renovation, many more fresh vegetables (soybean sprouts, sesame leaves, Asian radish, etc.) and pre-cooked meal packages are available for sale. Bulgogi, spicy stir-fried pork, and tonkatsu (pork cutlet) are $8-10 ish. Korean side dishes are $4-6 which is a fairly good price for the quality. Good selection of Korean products if you seek specific ones (snacks, drinks, frozen food, spices, etc.) Some products are pricey but it is worth it to get them from the Hana market than driving 6hr round trip to Chicago h mart.

Small, local Korean market that has all of the essentials and necessities for a Korean living in Lafayette. Prices are a little high, but to be expected since they likely have to import a lot of things. They occasionally have homemade to-go food like bento boxes, kimbap, and onigiri/triangle kimbap which are very tasty. If you’re expecting a traditional American grocery experience with super chatty workers, this is nothing like it (like most other Asian markets). They are quiet, keep to themselves, but are very respectful and kind. They have a rewards system where you get points every time you shop, and can redeem said points for some coupons later on. Mostly Korean products, pretty good prices, although a few things on the shelves seemed a bit dusty- I think that's pretty common in small grocery stores. But the aisles were clear and tidy, the freezers seemed well-maintained and those products rotated out more regularly. There was a large variety of frozen dumplings and other frozen goods. I also liked the selection in the beverage cooler, convienent if you don't want to buy a whole case of something.
