I had a very off visit to say the least. Had to wait 10 minutes to find somebody in an empty store to let me try on a tennis shoe that I wanted. He looked at where I got it and went in back to get it. I had to get the display because they didn't have my size in the back. Went to cashier. He said it was 59.99. I said that's not right. The sale price says the shoe is 39.99. He looked at me. Just stared. Did my say anything. So I said. Do you want me to go back and look? I was annoyed. I starting walking back and said well you aren't taking my word for it so why would you take my word me walking back myself. Came back said the price was indeed 39.99. He still just stood there. Guy at the register who was on the phone said is there something wrong and the kid told him and he told him to call the other manager because he was on the phone. The other manager was rude. My daughter went back and showed her where the shoe was. The manager said it was in the wrong spot but my daughter told him that the shoe guy looked at the tag to make sure he was getting the right shoe when he went back to get them. Manager came huffing to the register saying the shoe was in the wrong spot but she will honor it. So I'm not sure if it was or wasn't. The store is a mess. I took way too long in the baseball pants section because everything was completely out of place. I took a pair to the register and asked how much they were. They rang up full price. I said the sign says they're on sale. The cashier made no effort to validate what I was saying was true and stated "it's not on sale". In fact, it was on sale but not ringing up correctly. Then the cashier said "yeah, it's a mess back there." I asked how do I know if what I get on the sale rack is on sale or not and he said "I don't know.". I put the pants back and left. There has never been a time that what I buy rings up correctly, and to make no effort to validate it is unacceptable. There was a reason I was the only customer in the whole store. Terrible experience. We walked in to get soccer cleats and couldn’t find anyone to help. After kindly asking if someone could assist us with shoes, we were told “maybe, hopefully soon. Not sure. We are all working on another task now”. We waited for awhile and then picked up a pair of clearance shoes, having given up waiting for help with the cleats. We took the shoes to the register (they did not have a tag) and waited 30 MINUTES without being told anything. We asked if a price was going to be found and were told “maybe, probably not”.
