*Update: The General Manger Paul called me today to address my complaints. He seemed very nice and explained the price variance clear as day. I am not sure why the finance guy was unable to simply explain to me that the final price included the banks interest. Again, it was nearly 11pm and I am sure I was not the only one tired. We are working on the strange warranty issue and I will provide an additional update after that discussion and adjust the rating at that time.
I will sum it up before the long review that follows. I would not shop again at Century 3 Kia and I would not even have it serviced there.
My friend was looking to get a new car for the first time and asked me to come along. First, we played the negotiate the price game, not the payment BS they always try they did not like that at all. We got to the sale price of $14,710 with the "incentives" used to reduce the price. Little did I know they counted my $2,000 down payment as part of the "incentives". When asked about it of course they had some dumb excuse about, "that's how the system has to have it in there", sure it does... This one was on me. I should have said no. But after 4 hours and being 11pm they were able to wear me down.
Then we get the final bill loan paperwork. Alone I have a 750+ score, and somehow, we were "turned down by all the banks except this one" and amazingly enough we had this one bank who would finance us for around 6ish%. My guess is they were trying to make back their money by using a bank that kicks back some money to them. Again, we should have gone to our own bank but my friend wants to build his credit so he was ok with 6% or whatever.
Now the fun part. So apparently, "the bank" forced us to have the extended warranty on this brand-new car. How much was the extended warranty you ask? $3850. I called them out on the spot, these scammers tried to say the bank forced this crazy fee on us. No way. Now, we wanted the extended but not for $3850. So, like magic after 4 tried they got it down to $1900. So basically, they were going to cheat us and had no problems doing it in more than one place. They have no problem lying right to your face and stealing your money if you are not watching their slight of hand. This is a known Scam you can read about it all day. They are all about scams it appears.
Bottom line, I would not do business with them ever again I will go somewhere else. I would rather a dealer say, "Hey we just can't beat this price sorry. If you change your mind please come back." I am all about honesty and fairness. This company is none of that. Again, if this was my car the sale would have ended the second I sat down with the finance guy. ...
Read moreI know you are the same owners as Monroeville Kia. I am unhappy because the car sold to me at Monroeville Kia had bad wipers that fell apart and scratched my windshield and when replaced, fell apart again. I want my windshield replaced. I’ve gotten no where between you all and corporate. Do you really not stand by your products?? Do you really not care about damages after the car is sold? Or when your product fails? I’m disgusted by my experience. I haven’t even mentioned that my car had pizza crust, Taco Bell bags and other fast food wrappers I cleaned out of it after it was sold to me! Is that how your sell all your CPOs? I have never regretted a purchase so much in my life. Don’t even get me started on how they got me on the price, didn’t have the car properly cleaned, it didn’t have floor mats, and the literally sent for credit approval at probably 15+ agencies when I applied, obviously dropping my score. Don’t buy from this owner unless you want a car that won’t be treated right and end up with damage that they will take absolutely zero responsibility for and unless it’s new, it will be absolutely filthy when sold to you, Include scratches I wasn’t told about when purchasing (test drove at night, bought on a rainy day) that I’ve been told by multiple people could have easily, and should have been buffed out.
Also I don’t know if they can be viewed, but I’ve added a copy of my paperwork showing the date the wipers were replced and what the paper was when my car was released back to my boyfriend and a photo showing the date of the picture of broken wipers being taken a day later. It doesn’t seem to show up on my end, but maybe it does actually show on the public end? Hope so. Kinda wonder why a picture of proof of their product falling apart wouldn’t show.
I also posted on Facebook about the damages to my car and pictures to their page. So you think they responded? No. But they did block me from posting my damaged vehicle for others to see.
Titus Swan’s review doesn’t surprise me either! The minute you have a problem they wont do a thing to help you if it costs money. They don’t care about you once they get their signature!!! Keep moving on else where. You’re just money. And I would have never even had a problem with them if they would have fixed my windshield that their neglected product destroyed!! But since they don’t stand by their product after nailing you on price.... I have so much regret with my car buying experience. First car that’s not a beater for me. And it’s a beater with a new car price tag.
Update. Filed with BBB. Hoping they can help get my windshield replaced and...

I have a Kia Soul that I purchased in Wexford, but CIII Kia is closer to home. My mirror was clipped by a semi (just a scrape,) and I needed to get an estimate for having the paint fixed. I had a couple of recalls to take care of, plus I wanted to have my central locking system checked out, because it had recently started not always locking.
I dropped it off during the evening, letting them have the entire day to take care of the recalls and giving me estimates for the other two things. By 2:30 PM, I had still not heard from them (my husband would have to bring me back to pick it up after work,) so I called. This place is an absolute disorganized mess. Apparently, there was only one person who could talk to me about my car (Jodi,) and she was unavailable. So I had to wait. Once I finally heard from her, she gave me a $600+ estimate to REPLACE AND PAINT the entire mirror. I asked why it would need to be replaced to just fix a scrape, and she was very confused. She had no idea what I had even asked to be estimated! So I waited again while she looked into that.
The locking system problem needed a part that had to be ordered, so I waited a week or so for it to come in. When the service advisor called me back, I missed the call. I called and was told that I needed to speak to this specific person since "she knows about the part you need." I left her a VM and then didn't hear from her for two days, so I called again. She told me that she "wasn't getting her voice messages for some reason." You know how that problem could be avoided? By not allowing a single point of failure in having ONE person who can help me!
So now I sit here in the lounge, waiting for the part to be installed (it has been 2 hours, BTW,) when a service advisor comes in and asks me where my second key fob is. Of course my husband has it on his keychain like he always does. Well apparently, this fix requires the fobs to be reprogrammed. I said that I wished someone had told me that before I brought it in, and she said "me too." So now I have to make ANOTHER TRIP (which had really not require another appointment or more than 20 minutes of my time) to make the other fob work.
Since this is the only nearby dealership, I'm not likely to buy another Kia. This place has wasted too...
