CVS — Local services in West New York

If you have been to a CVS before, there is nothing special about the location. You can find many pharmaceuticals in this company. With medication as its bread and butter, you have a good amount of over the counter medication to choose from or have your prescription filled in its pharmacy. Just like other "Pharmacies" this location is no different to the standard "Bodega/minimart" format. You also have options to purchase other anemities such as cereal, toilet paper, hand cloths, and beverages. My only issue with CVS is just with the self checkout machines. This location does not have cashiers only self checkout machines that very often have barcode scanning issues making your checkout take too long. I had a rough time finding a medication for my dog and I was lucky to have been directed to this store. I called the pharmacy and was able to speak to Natalie to ask if they had it in stock and was so happy they did! Natalie was incredibly kind, helpful, and patient with me on the phone. Not only did the pharmacy hold it for me while I worked with my veterinarian to get the script sent over, upon checkout, they explained the price was reduced due to the extra effort they made to add coupons to save me a lot of money. This location is terrible. They changed their phone system recently and you can no longer get connected to the pharmacist. You have to leave a message and wait for them to return your call. Problem is... No one returns your call!!! My 79 year old mother has been waiting for a call back for days because the pharmacy won't let her get her medications delivered. She really needs her medication and no one has called her back. It's almost been a week! She always gets her medications delivered, but this one medication she really needs is set for pick up only.
