El Tio Taco — Restaurant in West New York

Revising my review! The service from a server there that has long black hair and tattoos on Her arm and a huge mole on her face is the worst server there. She is always mad and does not bring the service to the table. Instead she throws stuff at the table or never brings the stuff you ask for. I was there today 2/9/19. The service from that lady sucks! You go there and you have her send her away take someone else. I had to get up and get my own salsa and then ontop of that get dirty looks from her. What really bothered me the most was that when she tried to take the bill with the money in it I was NOT done and she scoffed at me like she was annoyed I was taking a long time. Mind you I never got my order correct I asked for more chips never showed to my table more salsa never showed to my table when ready to leave my 5yr old was putting on her jacket and she shoved her to the table because she needed to get through no excuse me no pardon just put her hands on my child and shoved her towards the table. I am STILL annoyed at this because I go there with family and this is the type of service we get. If you get this lady she is two faced and shady she is NOT friendly at all and her service sucks! Get another person because the food is good. If the service and food is great you get a nice tip. In her case she got ZERO!!! Terrible customer service I had 2 experience that are just terrible if I could I would give them a negative zero I worked in the service industry and I know it can be overwhelming and I completely understand but they have no excuse what so ever I’m not one to write terrible reviews but this specific location needs better staff or management I asked for a plate to go 6 times in Spanish and English and all 6 times I was completely ignored if I could I wish I could get my money back . Instead of paying attention to the customer needs they were huddled in a circle just talking and that is unacceptable and on-top of that they put ice in a cup and they threw the ice back in and then proceeded to put the cup back and to me that is unsanitary and then the first time they had told my mom and me that they said and I quote “ I’m sorry we don’t give free food “ like what is that I wasn’t asking free food if you had cared to ask like a human being I would have said I’m here for a pick up I don’t know if they didn’t speak English or Spanish but it doesn’t take a smart person to know what a to go plate means and to end it all it was 2 servers who I asked one with black and a girl who was blond and red lip stick and they both should be fired and at the end they didn’t even give me a plate I just took it in a napkin you have a better chance getting tacos from...

I called to place a order for pick up.. first time here and I specifically asked what the taco comes with.. after given the description including cheese*! When I go to pick up my order, it has no cheese. No biggie I then state to the person at the register my problem and see if they can just give it to me on side I get told I’m wrong no one said that.. still no biggie I go to get a drink from the fridge while I wait to sort things out I’m told I gotta give $4 on top of my $10 order...... at this point I’m getting annoyed and ask to speak to the manager I’m told there’s no one to speak to.. at this point I no longer want the food and ask another employee for the manager come to find out I was speaking to the manager the entire time. Annoying! Still calm I say I didn’t get what I ordered and I’d like my money back the manager is literally ignoring me.. I waited about an hr to get my food ! Wouldn’t recommend this place not professional the wait time in triple of what they tell you and food...
