The manicurist was really unprofessional and unhygienic. She used her own acrylic nail as a file to clean under my nails and it felt disgusting. She was also eating while giving me my manicure and never put my fingers in water or used cuticle oil. The person seemed distracted and was more interested in talking to her co workers about mundane things instead of paying attention to me. A few times, we left my hands hanging while she was in conversation with others about things that were not urgent or related to the salon. My stylist also snapped at me twice when I tried to talk to her about corrections on my nails and had a bad attitude. Very unhygienic even though it is a new place.

I stop getting my nails done for years after past experiences with other Nail Salons due to how uncleaned and staff unprofessionalism. Long waiting even with appointments. Here at Valentina's, my experience has been exceptional🥰! Staff super friendly, the cleanest Nail Salon on Bergenline Ave. (actually the best one considering all the thousands of Nail Salon in the area), the ladies are all gems especially the owner (always a doll❤️). I have been a customer for over a year and the service is always great! DON’t do your lashes here. I asked for a lash lift and they over processed my lashes. I couldn’t wear mascara and I still can’t after 3 months. My lashes are currently straight and others are curled back. It looks so horrible. The answer I received from the lady was that they will naturally fall out and that it only lasts for 3 months and they will be normal again. Unfortunately that’s not the case and I will never have my lashes how they used to be, they look like spider. I did them exactly for new years and the results were horrible I waited, putted oils as she indicated but nothing made it get better. She said there was nothing she can do.
