mother of four. I recently went there for the first time. even though I do not like to bad mouth a business, I guess I have to be honest. we live about an hour away. I thought it would be more exciting. many issues that day. first the booking site that confirms your scheduled tour is not the right address. when calling to ask the factory where they were located seeing that I was given the wrong address, the lady was VERY RUDE! then when me and my children finally arrive, all the workers looked like they did not want us there and to be bothered. I can not tell you how unfriendly and miserable they looked. when going into the building and waiting for our tour, the café had nobody there but a sign saying to use the vending machines and the vending machines were out of order! my children were thirsty and starving from the heat and drive and nothing was working. then when we went to the little movie type theater part to watch the video we waited for a while and the kid didn't even know what time group we were! the tour people did not act at all like they even wanted to do the tour. after all the sweating and waiting ....IT WAS NOT WORTH IT! my advise skip the trip and just eat...

For the past 5 years, we have made the trek to Nottingham to drive through the Herr's light display. In this day and age where every corporation seems to be trying to monetize everything, the fact that this lovely display is free to enjoy speaks volumes about the Herr's corporate ethos.
Keep doing this... it makes for such a wonderful event and really adds to the Christmas mood and always...
