I recently visited sound America audio to get my radio fixed. Unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. I brought my own equipment, but the technician insisted that everything I had was not working properly. What bothered me the most was that none of the additional work or equipment was authorized by me, yet I was still charged for it.
I felt completely overcharged for the services rendered. The lack of transparency and communication regarding the additional work and charges was disappointing. As a customer, I believe it is crucial to have open and honest discussions about any extra costs involved.
I would have appreciated a more thorough explanation of the issues with my equipment and a breakdown of the costs associated with the repairs. Clear authorization should have been sought before proceeding with any additional work.
While I cannot speak to the quality of the repairs themselves, the lack of professionalism and the feeling of being taken advantage of overshadowed any potential positive aspects of my visit.

Read moreDo not have these guys install any autopage alarm systems. Autopage is a new line for them and they know nothing about them. After asking them 2 guys (including the manager) they told me that annual cost for gps tracking on this alarm was 75 dollars for unlimited tracking it's actually 250 dollars I found this out after I put a deposit down on the alarm system. They told me it would take 3 hours to install this alarm system so I decided to wait for my car. After a 7 hour wait they did not have their dealer login information to activate my gps tracking. I returned on monday and waited 2 hours to activate the tracking. They ask me to return on tuesday so that they could look up why is the a/c would not come on with remote start. I return on tuesday but they forgot to look up information so they ask me to come back on thursday. They over drilled the hole for the indicator light now it just falls back into the dash.
