Went for the Friday the 13th flash day. Got tattooed by guest tattooer KJ. Tattoos are fine. Roommate got a flat piercing and was pierced with LOBE STUD with a BUTTERFLY BACK. Neither of us were IDed. We were told it was because we have previous tattoos and piercings. Not sure when that has ever been a reason not to ID someone. Called back to inform owner Alica Beck. She was not concerned with the fact that we weren’t IDed. She did mention that I had hit my vape in the shop (which I had, didn’t know it wasn’t allowed. I asked my artist he said no, i IMMEDIATELY put it away and apologized). I apologized on the phone to the owner, Alica Beck, immediately as well. She proceeded to call me a “little turd” and told I get tattooed by other “trashy artists” who allow vaping in their shops. Personally, won’t be back to a woman who tears other women down and calls names after I apologized and explained I did not know. Again, I like my tattoos but to be called a name by a 32 year old woman was uncalled for. I acknowledge I shouldn’t have been vaping in the shop(again, didn’t know) but it should be known I was not going to leave a review until she called me a name. I cannot believe that happened. I had an appointment with Alicia in February for tattoos for myself and my spouse. We live approx 2.5 hours from Holmen and we're just leaving our home when I received a text from her saying that she was ill and needed to cancel at 12:12 pm. I was understanding we all get sick. Rescheduled with her and then found out that I have to work the day I rescheduled for so I contacted her about rescheduling. Mind you MONTHS in advance, not 2 hours prior to the appointment. She was very short and told me she is full until August and she normally requires an additional deposit for rescheduling but since it was in advance she would do it. What? Really? I was completely y understanding when she had to reschedule 2 hours before my appointment but now rescheduling 2 months prior is a problem. We went back and forth and ultimately after listening to numerous excuses, getting gaslit and hearing her run Black Widow into the ground, I decided to ask for my deposit back and go back to Black Widow Tattoo. She did give my deposit back. VERY negative persons and experience. I guarantee she will either delete my review or make some negative comment on this and it won't be her fault. Shop...

After getting my first tattoo done by a different artist I was devastated with the outcome. I reached out to several artists and was told they don’t do re-works. I put up a Facebook post asking if anyone in the area specialized in feminine fibs line floral, and was directed to Alicia from Lady Like by several people. I reached out and heard back from her almost immediately. I went in and met with her and she validated all my concerns about my tattoo, and assured me she could rework it into something I’d be proud of. I went in for the first part of the rework and was blown away by her technique and ability to add feminine elements to the tattoo. I’m currently working through laser removal of a few parts of the previous design, and am so excited to have her continue to build out and rework the piece on my shoulder. Not only is she incredible at what she does, but she’s kind and considerate. She won’t rush through the process and leave you with something you’re not 100% happy with. I literally couldn’t...
