Pizza Villa - West Salem — Restaurant in West Salem

I arrived to pick up my order 45 minutes after placing an order for the family special and some wings. When I got there, the pizza was ready, but nothing else. They started the wings when I got there. The girl working the kitchen had no idea how to make the sauce which was very basic. The wings were burnt. Then she boxed it all up and I asked if the breadsticks were in one of the boxes because we ordered the family special. They did not have them done and seemed confused so I had to wait again for breadsticks that we discovered upon getting home, were gummy and didn't really resemble breadsticks. We threw them away. Then a gentleman who seemed like he was on delivery came in and seemed more knowledgeable than the two young ladies who were there and even asked me how I was doing. He asked me what kinds of soda I wanted and knew exactly what was supposed to be in the order I placed. This is the guy who should have been in the kitchen running the show. The girls seemed pretty clueless.

The food itself was very disappointing, the execution of our meal to go was ridiculous, and clearly some training is needed and there is mismanagement. I do not plan on going back and my mind was blown that there were so many positive reviews. This was something straight out of...

We were so excited to see if the pizza villa was as we remembered. Let's just sum it up as "we will never go back". Waitress was awful so everyyime I had to get up to ask for something I deducted from her tip. She was always standing in the kitchen with her back to the eating area making no attempt at service. We had 4 large pizzas with one of them as a pizza to go. We expect toppings you can see for 25 bucks not skimpy toppings.. come on every pizza topping is still reasonable so don't be cheap. The "to go" was stuck in a box with no foil or parchment under it so that all stuck to the cardboard box for $25.00 (see the picture).Too bad because that was the villa deluxe & it was the best of the bland skimpy pizzas we had. The taco was gross & we had to get up & ask for salsa & sour cream that comes with EVERY TACO pizza ever made anywhere else. The Hawaiian only has Canadian bacon & pineapple & you looking for both thinking they forgot to put the toppings on. Not one adults on the premises all kids with the no pride in their work skill set. This was seriously some of the grossest restaurant pizza I've ever had. The main issue was the sauce. It wasn't even a sauce it was more like tomato paste. Before I even started eating the pizza or opened the dipping sauce container the tomato sauce was starting to separate. While eating the pizza I started to get water running down my hand. That sauce/paste was disgusting. Paid over $22 for a pizza that was subpar. I'll never go back to this place. Now the owner is on here messaging me trying to blame me for the pizza and sauce. My review is three days later because some of us have lives and have to work for a living. When your employee tells me to not be there til at least 3:45 I'll get there around that time. If you have a problem with my time of arrival talk to your employee that told me when to be there. Stop being angry and defensive about a negative review. Spend your time fixing the problems with your restaurant and stop getting defensive over a well earned...
