My experience with California Audio has always been above and beyond. Back in 2008 I purchased a sound system for a new car and had it for 6 months and it STOPPED WORKING. I took it into the dealership and found out the work California Audio had done voided my warranty so they wouldn’t help me. I took the car in to California Audio expecting them to help me. Alan who was very helpful pulled up his computer system up and didn’t have that car as being worked on by them. I kept telling him I swear they did the work as they do all of my sound systems and would like for them to help fix it. Alan took the car back willingly and came back and told me this was not his work and showed me what was done and what they would have done to the car system which would not have voided the warranty with Honda. At that point I remember my gut dropping through the floor and recall going to Circuit City to get my system installed on that car! Not only did Alan fix the problem and get me back on the road with my sound system working but he did it with integrity, honesty while being helpful even while I was challenging him on my beliefs. I am now back replacing my entire system on another car and couldn’t be happier supporting business that was and is so willing to help me. About 8 months ago I had California audio install an amp and subwoofer combo along with tinting my windows on my wife’s new car, well they did some great work, and I honestly don’t think anyone can do better than they did.

I recently bought my first truck, and well it’s a nice truck, but it needed a boost in audio quality, and I didn’t even consider going anywhere else.

Now there was some miscommunication and They actually installed something else completely different than what we had agreed on, I was initially quite upset about it, though it does sound better than it did stock it wasn’t really what I expected.

I could probably leave the review here, but they humbly apologized and they corrected the issue and they even earned my business to get my windows tinted the following week.

These are great guys and a great company that I would recommend over anyone in Utah.

I am actually going to be getting some screens installed soon with California audio, so for anyone looking for car audio or tint, I guarantee that you will never find a better place to get it done, Alan and his entire team are extremely educated and will not screw you over.

I can't say enough good things about these guys, truly!

We had them install a Viper security and remote start system on my husbands car on a Monday. No big deal right? I should mention the car is a Chrysler Crossfire, which I have since learned is the b*d child of an unholy union between Mercedes and Chrysler.

So it gets installed, drive it home and it sits for a day before he has to go to work. All is well. Until he goes to start the car for work at 4am and it won't start! Had power, just wouldn't turn over. Called the guys at California Audio, they sent out a tech, and an hour later everything was working. As it turns out there was a security chip that fell out of place bc there wasn't a great place for it on this car. It's secured now and running smoothly. Fast forward a week.

Hubby decided the shock sensor wasn't sensitive enough and that he'd just adjust it a bit. SMH. Half a day later the car will start again but once the key is in (including the entire time driving) the FACTORY alarm is beeping. Not even the Viper alarm, the factory one. Took it back to the guys at C.A. and let them do their thing. Everything works now as it should, turns out hubby plugged in a wire he shouldn't have and overloaded everything 0_0
