I've been to this La Frontera location many times in my life, and have never been treated with more disrespect and lack of customer service in my entire life. On 9/19/18 I called to place a take out order for a large group of my coworkers two hours prior so that it could be ready for pick up by 12:30 PM. Upon arrival the worker informed us that we would need to wait because our order wasn't ready. Once it was ready, she helped the line of guests eating in pay their bill before checking us out causing us to leave at 1:00 PM. Upon returning to my work, I found that 1 item was missing, and 4 other meals were made incorrectly. I called La Frontera back and before I could even explain my issue, the worker argued that I was wrong and that she did not make a mistake. I was placed on hold for 5 minutes, before she came back and said she checked with the kitchen and they said they made everything correctly. I asked what I was supposed to do because I wasn't lying about my wrong orders, and she said there was nothing she could do for me. I asked to speak to a manager, and someone came on the phone. Once I was finished explaining the manager said "I don't know why you're complaining to me, because I just got here" I asked why she was a manager if she was not willing to assist her customers, and she said she just got to work so it wasn't her problem. I asked for her name, to which she refused to give me. I asked who would be able to assist me with my concern and she said "obviously no one here, so you can call corporate if you want". I asked for corporate's phone number, to which she gave me a number that did not work. Due to La Frontera not willing to assist me with my issue, I will be disputing the charges with my bank and avoiding this location...
Read moreWe used to eat here three times a week and than the food changed and it wasn't as good but we still would come in about 3 times a month than something happened that would cause us to never come back. I accidentally left my cell phone on the table, I called immediately and was told that they didn't have it. I asked them to ask all the employees because I knew they had it but they told me they didn't have it. So I contacted my carrier to find out if somebody was using it and I found out that it was being used. The next morning they had used all my data so I had it shut off. I called the restaurant again and threatened to call the police if they didn't give back my cell phone. I finally got them to admit that they had it and these were managers that I was talking to. They told me to come in and get it. When I finally got my phone back they had erased all my photos, video, everything, they had set the phone to manufacturers settings. These people are criminals, they are dishonest. From the owner to the managers. I called the owner to let her know what had happened and she acted like it was no big deal. If I owned a restaurant and one of my employees especially a manager stole a customers phone and erased all their information off the phone it would be their job. But this owner obviously is a crook herself because it was not a big deal to her. I will never go back and I will tell as many people as possible what...
Read moreI just went here for lunch today. I was so shocked because something was very wrong with the meat. I ordered the smothered burrito. I physically winced each time I took a bite, until I couldn't finish it and threw it away. I don't ever do that. Ever. I thought for a while about it and it tasted like walnuts that had gone stale (really awful taste). It's almost like they put super stale walnut flour into their meat. I was very surprised when I first tasted it. Also, all the burrito had was ground meat on the inside. (I ordered carne asada. It wasn't that.) Yeah, that's it. No rice... beans... lettuce... tomatoes... nothing. Really strange. It had lots of sauce and cheese on top, though, and guac in the corner with older lettuce as an ornamental bed. I hate to say this, but it stood out as the worst burrito I've ever eaten. By far. It wasn't "oh this isn't as good as others." It was "something is very wrong with this meat." I recommend that the staff taste this meat and throw out this batch, or change the recipe. The service was nice & kind, as well as fast. I ordered to-go. The restaurant was clean, but could most definitely use an after-hours deep clean, and a freshening coat of paint.
