If you're looking for an unforgettable adventure in Montana, Wild West Whitewater Rafting is the way to go! I recently scheduled a full day trip with them to entertain a diverse group of friends coming all the way from the UK, Switzerland, Kenya, and Canada, and let me tell you, it was an absolute blast!

We lucked out and had the pleasure of riding the raft named "Zebra," which added to the excitement from the get-go. But what made the experience truly exceptional was our guide, Carson! He was an absolute gem, and his wit and knowledge made the entire trip so much more enjoyable.

Carson's expertise in camping and bird knowledge added a fascinating touch to the trip. He could tell us interesting facts about the local wildlife and birds we encountered along the way. But the highlight was his famous riddle about the thing with 132 teeth that can hold a monster inside! I won't spoil the fun, but be sure to ask him about it during your trip - it's a brain teaser for the ages!

The entire team at Wild West Whitewater Rafting was professional, well-organized, and focused on safety while ensuring we had the time of our lives. The adrenaline-pumping rafting experience coupled with Carson's entertaining and informative commentary made for an unforgettable day.

I had researched saddle and paddle trips for months. My roller coaster, adrenaline junky family needed more than just animals and views for our family vacation. Enter the idea of a saddle and paddle trip! The first 1/2 of our drive from Wisconsin through South Dakota and the Badlands, Cody, WY and the Nite Rodeo, the Beartooth Highway, and THIS was all they talked about! The day finally arrived and nothing was a disappointment! The drive to Hells-A-Roarin’ Outfitters and the ride through the Gallatin National Forest was breathtaking. The horses were amazing and the views were unimaginable. Our kids (10, 12, and 15) loved the one hour ride. We ate a quick lunch and headed for Wild West Rafting, equally excited. We tried to temper their expectations, just in case; however our June paddle was just the right amount of rapids for our first time! They all told us we went through more rapids than they expected! Where Wild West Rafting puts in their rafts compared to other companies, gives you some great waves right from the start. We managed to get a raft with another midwestern family and our kids were well matched, adventure lovers! They jumped off our raft and swam in the Yellowstone river multiple times! There may have even been an epic bellyflop! Our guide, Bodie, was funny, and made the trip all about us. All the kids loved racing ahead of the other rafts. He put our boat right in the path of the waves, and got our kids as wet as they wanted to be! It was an absolutely incredible experience on the river for our family of five! Our full day white water rafting trip was everything we could have hoped for and more. The rapids were thrilling, the scenery was breathtaking, and the adrenaline rush was out of this world. But what really made the trip stand out was our amazing guide, Brandon.

From the moment we met Brandon, we knew we were in good hands. His energy was infectious, and he made sure everyone felt safe, comfortable, and ready for an unforgettable adventure. Brandon’s knowledge, confidence and skill turned what could have been a nerve-wracking experience into a pure adrenaline-pumping joyride.

What really set Brandon apart was how much fun he made it all. He kept us laughing with his hilarious stories and positive attitude, and his passion for rafting and the great outdoors was contagious. Whether we were crashing through rapids or floating in calmer waters, Brandon made every moment memorable. He also took the time to point out wildlife, share interesting facts about the river and surrounding area and may have made up a few fun facts to keep things interesting. He definitely wasn’t short on dad jokes.
