Careless kitchen and bad waitress. I found a piece of blue plastic inside my bison cheesestake, I showed it to our server, she explained the plastic and just took 50% off of the bill. She didn’t apologize for the plastic inside the food at all, and what’s worse, she said she just took 50% off because I finished the most of my food. Are you serious? Are you guys indicating that I purposefully eat the most food before I show you the plastic? I’m super disappointed and upset that there’s no apology at all. I don’t even know if I’ve accidentally eaten more plastic before I found one. There are health hazardous for consuming plastic. Your kitchen is careless and your server is extremely bad at handling this.
[Update] First, your waitress didn't apologize at all, at least I didn't hear from her, instead, I heard blame from her tone - I found the plastic when I almost finished the food and it was on purpose.
Second, there's no toothpick holding my cheesesteak, the plastic came out of nowhere. Ask your kitchen, did they use the tooth pick for the cheesesteak? No, they didn't. When you said the "tooth pick we hold your cheesesteak", you are still blaming me for this incidence. Guess what, I took a picture of your food, can you see the toothpick?? I found the blue plastic inside the mixing of the the bison meat and cheese melt. It was a part of the mixing squeezed inside two buns. Apparently there's no tooth pick, did your kitchen melt the toothpick too?
Third, as an owner, you had a bad attitude towards your guests. It seemed to me that guests totally deserve consuming plastic if they just couldn't spot the plastic in the food. You should have apologized for mixing non-consumable material into the bison meat and cheese melt, educate your kitchen to be more careful, and educate your waitress to be...
Read moreChanged to 1 star. Read on... Wow .. instead of taking ownership of your business' services.. They turn around and blame the customer for being hard to please. . Excuse me... Do you know me ? I didn't think so. Pathetic response to a legitimate review. Everything I said was true and not embellished . Service was poor. Very little attention paid by the wait staff. Had to go get the server to have my drink refilled . The first entree was the steak and cheese sandwich. The meat was really tough, un-seasoned CHUNKS .. not sliced as described on the menu. I returned after having two bites. Way to much garlic mayo ( aioli ) , just not acceptable for $ 19.50 with out the fries which were decent Instead I ordered the sunny chicken sandwich to go . The server gave me the check saying he had comped the sandwich. Which was true, he comped the sandwich, but he comped the Chicken Sandwich, which was $3 less than the cheese steak sandwich. So the total was still $3 More than it should have been. at that point I was just over the whole experience. Left a reasonable tip for the service rendered, which was abysmal and left once I got my to go order. the chicken sandwich that I got wasn't any better than the cheese steak sandwich. way too much aioli drowning the bun. No flavor to the chicken breast like it had literally N0 seasoning put on it before it was put on the grill. The view was nice and the...
Read moreWe went to Antler Pub and restaurant for dinner when in Gardiner. We were lucky we went in just before peak time, got a table immediately. Were served water immediately, but it took a little time to get our order placed. There were more people coming in.. and as the evening progressed, we noticed a lot of tables seated well after us got their food before us. The service was very slow, and it took almost 40 minutes for food to suddenly start coming out. We saw people seated well after us get their food, and then it was another ten-12 minutes for us to get ours.. leading to a total time of forty minutes. Anyway, our server barely came around to check on us. A young staff member who was filling glasses was the one we reached out to each time. On the other side, we saw a server who was super attentive to her tables. I guess we got the short straw on our server.
We ordered the Ol Faithful Burger, Elk Meatloaf and a Wedge salad. I have to say the Ol Faithful burger with two beef patties and a whole roasted Jalapeño, blew my mind and senses. It’s spicy, and I love spicy so this was up my alley. I would go back, and endure the lack of service for this super spicy Ol Faithful burger! The wedge salad and the Elk Meatloaf were also good. If you are in Gardiner, and like it hot, hot, try the Ol...
