Diane Main Park — Attraction in Westmont

Visited this park today for my son's soccer game. I brought my dog to the game, as did a handful of other people. We were told my the park monitor that dogs weren't allowed there, unless on the path. All dogs there were on leashes and being taken care of by their owners. The path is quite a ways to be, when trying to watch your child play on the soccer field. It was quite upsetting to have to deal with this park monitor, when there were no signs around saying dogs were not allowed on the grass area of the park. It was even more ridiculous when the police were called. I was standing on the designated path and was still being confronted by this park monitor. I finally chose to leave with my dog while my son's game was still be played. A few signs stating your dog rule or warning about fines for not picking up after a dog, would be money better spent, as opposed to an aggressive park monitor. I will never return to...

A very novice park, we'll maintained. It's a great place to walk my dog, or just walk and enjoy nature. Sadly, it is not safe at present because so many refuse to wear masks or follow the social distancing guidelines required to control the spread of covid-19. Please be extra careful when you enjoy the lark, I have not been able to walk there except late at night or very early morning because of the risks. Is it so much to ask of people to protect...
