Lara's Labyrinth — Local services in Wethersfield

Highly recommended. Was in the area looking for something to do after another escape room didn't have the times available we needed. Found Lara's Labyrinth on Google and we decided to give them a try. We ended up doing two rooms "Curse of Osiris" and "BeWitched". Hosts were incredibly friendly and accommodating. Both rooms were challenging but fun to figure out and hosts were great at giving hints when asked.

My favorite room was "BeWitched" which was an interactive escape room with live actors. This was a really unique and fun way to add to the and a more immersive way to introduce hints when needed since it was characters in the story that provided them. The room has 3 settings when you book it, "Spellbreaker" which is for all ages, "Maladiction" which is PG with mild swearing, and "The Dark Side" which is has some changes to lighting, props, and music to give a more sinister feel to it but still all in good fun for the older crowd. We chose Dark Side and enjoyed everything about it. We actually came close to not escaping since we got into interacting with the characters so much.

Overall wonderful experience and highly recommended to anybody who likes escape rooms or would like to try one out. Thanks to the hosts for an incredibly fun time. I'd love to visit again the next time I find myself in...

An absolute blast! As soon as I walked into the building I knew I was going to love this place. The atmosphere was set right away with great décor even in the lobby/waiting area - from the bloody footprints leading the way to the bathroom, to the "Redrum" door, and everything in between. My fiancé and I did the BeWITCHED room and our gamemaster was Vi, who was super personable, funny, and informative (she also gets bonus points for being a fellow 'theatre kid'!). We've done many escape rooms together, but none that involved so much interaction with other "characters." It made the experience very unique and incredibly amusing. Instead of worrying about how much time we had left, we found ourselves lost in banter with a cat puppet. Instead of getting frustrated when a puzzle wasn't going right, we were getting heckled by a rather large chicken or cursed out by some lizard heads. Honestly, this has been the only escape room I've done that has had such a sense of humor built in to it, and it was truly FUN. I’m not usually the type to write reviews for places but this place is just astonishing!! Me and my fiancé are from New York, we travel to do escape rooms and heard a lot of great things about Bewitched. And let me tell you, they did not disappoint! I definitely recommend the R rated version if you want to laugh a bunch.

Not only was the room amazing but the customer service was astounding! I had the pleasure of speaking with the manager, James. We had a 1:30 booking and ran in to crazy traffic, he quickly accommodated us by moving us to a later time, no charges, nothing! we loved the company so much we opt’d to immediately do another one, They offered us 20% off and helped us book the soonest available. Unfortunately due to traffic and just preference, we called to move the time and a different room & he again , helped us. No charges or .. greed like other companies. Many will tell you you have to pay again, but they were super polite and accommodating. They even helped to recommend us to tasty food and things to do in the area since we aren’t from here.

10/10 recommend!! we will be back to do all...
