Omni Cards and Comics — Local services in Wethersfield

In December 2023 I bought an item from this business's eBay account with username "pfootballpete4dhx" for $79.94. Scott Wool of Omni Comics & Cards listed the item as "PANINI NBA HOOPS 2022-23 BASKETBALL VALUE FAT PACK IN STOCK (12 PACK) BOX" and in the listing he said the item was a "(12 PACK) BOX" that has 12 packs of 30 cards and "Number of Cards: 360" and is "New/Factory Sealed". Scott Wool of Omni Comics & Cards sent me one single pack of 30 cards, instead of the 12-pack box of cards with 30 cards per pack I paid for. Scott has the exact same type of pack of cards he shipped to me for sale on eBay for $8.99, so clearly the item he was selling for $79.94 was supposed to include more than just the exact same item he's selling for $8.99, based on its price as well as the listing's title and description and picture which all show the item I paid for was supposed to be a 12-pack box of 360 cards. The seller has not responded to any of my 4 messages over the past few days, or made any offer/attempt to correct his mistake. Online buyers beware of this...

I just got back into collecting Pokémon cards and from my reading online kept seeing these strong mentions of pfootballpete4dhx on eBay. I placed my first order of some booster boxes, decks, elite trainer boxes and can firsthand say these mentions were accurate—excellent, virtually UNBEATABLE prices—FAST shipping and awesome stock. That’s just the online storefront, though.

When these orders came in I realized from the return mailing address that OMNI is the store’s physical location. I went to check it out recently and met Justin who was really helpful and kind and has since helped me place & pick up my first in-person order. Despite me calling on the eve of 3 major releases (including Surging Sparks—we all know what that demand is/was like), he had the order ready to pick up the next morning, and even texted me to let me know exactly when it was ready. It was a big order but he ensured it was all accurate and overall went above and beyond in every conceivable way.

Bought recently from this stores online site on eBay “pfootballpete4dhx” currently one of the biggest on eBay. As it stands however they have suffered 666 “Negative reviews” and 538 “Neutral reviews” from this year alone… each review shows terrible management, zero communication, and or professionalism… messages/concerns are left un-responded, orders are “potentially and elegantly” tampered with along side pictures associated these specific reviews. Orders being wrong completely and customers receiving items they did not order. And customers having to wait weeks if not longer for this business to ship out anything. At best they are “inconsistent” with shipping time frames. And if it wasn’t for eBay “force refunding” people then you could add “theft” on this list of offenses. I am leaving this review to hopefully spread the word over the “true nature” of this business and or practices. Over...
