I visit every couple of weeks to see if thereâs anything interesting. Their products donât seem to move very well so Iâm surprised the dealers donât do price reductions after a while. Most of the fixtures in the front room have been there a long while. I noticed a dealer selling âvintageâ clothes, a DVF plaid button up shirt with a rip in the sleeve that was a few inches.. $45. If youâre going to resell clothes at least mend them. I admit I have a strong bias against clothing resellers but at least have some pride in what youâre offering. Paying $45 for a shirt to then have to repair it? Shouldâve left it at Goodwill for someone else to buy it at a reasonable price so they get a quality item. I would recommend Quality Consignment in Colchester, Antiques on the Farmington in Collinsville, or Collinsville Antiques in New Hartford (largest antique vendors in CT). There they are very welcoming and friendly, greeting you enthusiastically when you walk in, thanking you for thinking of them and taking the time to visit. If you arenât friendly/gracious to your customers why would they recommend you? They know their business depends on recommendations and people taking the time to go out and see them. Not saying the people running this place arenât friendly but in business you have to ham it up a bit to help people feel welcome. Iâve had friends purchase things and there isnât even conversation while checking out, no asking about the items. Felt like I was in a European grocery store or a gas station. These other markets are priced better and offer cash discounts (10% is common) and a lot of the times they have individual booth sales. If anything this place would be alright for New Yorkers visiting town but if youâre a local, please look into the other markets I mentioned. I wouldâve given 1 star but Iâm in...

Read moreI couldnât say anything better about this store. It was like being a kid in a candy store. The staff is so kind and helpful. There are SO many amazing things to see here you wonât want to leave! I canât tell you the number of people in the store with smiles on their faces saying âOMG!! this is amazing!!!â while shopping too. Such a friendly environment, I highly, HIGHLY recommend it. I saw an unbelievable post about this store being racist and I was dumbfounded! I am middle eastern and Hispanic and I have never once been treated with anything but absolute respect at this store. It makes me so sad to see the hate people can spread by making comments that can do so much damage. LOVE THIS PLACE, one of...
