I thoroughly enjoy the low prices in comparison to other dispensaries in the Wheat Ridge Area. Usually, the service is friendly and rather quick. Between their various locations, I have been customer with Solace for at least 2 years.
Today, I had my first mishap within the store. I had a budtender put back an item I wished to purchase. When I informed him of the error, he grabbed the incorrect product and stuck it into the bag. When I got home, I noticed that there were two of the same item in my bag. I checked the receipt and noticed that he rung me up twice for the same item. I called the store to see if I could come back in for an exchange. The fellow on the phone said that it shouldn't be a problem.
I drove back to the store to exchange the item. When I presented the information and the literal recipt on the bag to the budtender who botched my order, he ran to the back to the back to check the cameras. After less than than 5 min, he came back out with the manager. She claimed that she could see him grabbing the correct item on camera. Despite having the receipt and the unopened product, she still tried to tell me that I was wrong. The only reason why the exchange actually happened is because I refused to allow her to walk all over me. If I would have been a shy or mild person, she would have gotten away with it.
All in all, this place is a great choice for the frugal minded pothead until you have to make an exchange. They may speak to you in an...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWaited for an ungodly amount of time for the medical side to the point where my friend and I almost walked out. What we should have done was just skip the wait and gone to the rec side because that is where all the options and deals were. There were very very limited options on the medical side. So the bud tender literally told us next time to go to rec instead because it is just better overall apparently. As someone with a medical card why would I go somewhere for their recreational options? And if thatās the case why didnāt you tell us that earlier so we didnāt have to wait so long for someone to help us?
Also, the bud tender couldnāt remember what I was asking for, he kept having to ask me over and over again what I wanted. And when I got home I realized I still got checked out with the wrong concentrates... after he forgot to ring me up for them in the first place (I had to remind him again when he read me my total order before checking me out). What makes it even more sad is the fact that there were only two concentrates to choose from in the first place. The dude had a 50/50 chance and still messed it up. I also was not a fan of their flower either, very sub par and low quality in my opinion. I would not recommend this shop to anyone...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreFor some reason they call 16g a half ounce for some strains, while the others are the actual 14g. And the budtender continuesly referred to it as being a half oz. Which, by science, it is not. So if you want to mix and match to take an oz home, you can't. Advertising amd referring something as a half oz when it's blatantly not feels like false advertising. If what you're referring to is truly a half oz, then I should be able to get two of them. But that would put you over thr legal limit. Since they had no 14g (an actual half oz) options available for an indica, I had to hit up two dispensaries in one day just to get my oz. Which shouldn't be necessary. Just sell the industry standard allotments? Why are they trying to reinvent the wheel? Their reasoning? People were complaining that the 3.5g allotments they used to sell weren't really 3.5g. So why would they trust that a 4g dram is 4g? Seems extra sketch.
I'm going back to my old dispensary, even though it is not conveniently located. I'm on the spectrum and buy in bulk to reduce interactions like this. The budtender was very kind, and this review is...
