Ross Dress for Less — Local services in White Lake Charter Township

Like other reviewers, I too have visited Ross locations in other states while traveling and was excited when I heard the good news that Michigan was finally getting stores. Wooooo hhhooooo!!! 👏 Even better that it would be nearby in a great shopping plaza that I frequent.

Strike #3 today! I have been 3 times now and so far, the White Lake location has been a disappointment and hasn't lived up to the hype! Each time I've arrived at the 9:30AM opening ready to score great deals. If you are looking for a place to save money... then this is the place, but not for the reasons you'd expect!!!! The shelves, displays, and racks are literally EMPTY and there's not much of anything to even buy (see photos from today's visit).

Every time I've been I have heard the employees and cashiers say, "We get a new truck of merchandise every day!" That's great, but where is the merchandise at then!?!? I'm hoping, in time and soon, things will improve because if they don't, there's NO WAY this location is going to survive...

Went in there tonight because I needed an outfit to change into, they announce they would not be closing the fitting rooms for 20 minutes so I tried to hurry and collect an outfit, when I started heading to the fitting rooms they had someone in it I patiently waited for them to come out and as I got into the room and starting closing the door I heard yelling from across the floor and it was a lady working there and she was screaming “HEY HEY HEY IM ABOUT TO CLOSE THOSE SO I NEED YOU TO COME OUT” but it had NOT been 20 minutes… next time I’ll be taking my money elsewhere the employees seem like they don’t care about the job or the customers and they are more worried about going home, I can tell by the fact that the employees start announcing to “grab your things and head to the registers” a whole hour before the store actually closes… please do better and hire people who have some enthusiasm and...

Got kicked out of the dressing room! I’m a 19 year old girl shopping with my friends and having a good time when we went to try on our clothes. The main dressing room was closed so the two small ones were open in the front. They were not being tended and thought it would be faster if all three of us went in together. We tried on our clothes and were in there for maximum of 15 minutes. We received one knock on the door and answered with no reply. A few minutes later an employee knocks and yells at us that we have been in there for 30 minutes, needed to be considerate of other shoppers and vacate the dressing rooms immediately. We left the dressing rooms and the store right after. We received no warning and the interaction was rude and aggressive. I don’t believe we would’ve been treated this way if we weren’t young girls.
