UPDATE: THE WAITRESS ADDED THE TIP HERSELF..... have never written a review but felt like this was needed, kind of a long store I will try to make is short, had an issue with a waitress about a year ago always charging me full price for my drinks during happy hours so I finally said something to her after a few times, her response was it was the computer, like oh well it’s the computer doing it so my response was ok well fix it (she did not like that) so year later I come back with my same friend that I was with when that was happening (I did not notice it was the same waitress) she was taking our drink order and I asked for blackberry margarita and said is that on the happy hour menu and she started laughing when she did that I looked at my friend and said is this the same waitress she leaves with our drink order and a different waitress comes over to take our food order so my friend says did she not want to wait on us and the new waitress says no its shift change (but she stayed the entire time waiting on others so we got the hint) fast forward to yesterday (a week later) I am walking in and I see that same waitress talking to the hostess that seats people and laughing so I know what is being said so I get seated someone that was waiting for me and the waitress comes over and I order a drink and she brings it back and I say to her I just want to bring it to your attention that the other waitress is super rude every time I come in here and the other waitress just starts going off saying we are not going to be talking about this I have to work with these girls and we will not be talking about this and she leave the table and all three girls go into the back (the rude waitress, hostess and the new waitress) at this point I am sitting with my 2 sisters and said I am not eating here they may do something to my food. So when I left I got my bill for my drink and in the tip line I put ZERO RUDE PEOPLE… So if you can believe it the girl came running outside in the parking lot to find me because I didn’t leave her a tip and asked what did she do to us so I told her for one you telling 3 grown people that this will not be talked about in here in a very aggressive tone was RUDE so you get not tip… The servers are the rudest people I have ever come in contact with and I will never...
Read moreEh. We were very excited to try this place. Met friends there. It was all our first time. We were not greeted warmly. Just a 'how many?' when I walked in. When I asked if it was possible to sit in a booth, I was told it was OK. Just that the other server still needed to fill her area first. (As a customer, I think that should not have been stated. Just sit the next person over there).
My husband used the bathroom when we first arrived. He tried to tell the staff that the men's bathroom looked very dirty. Almost like mud or poop smeared on the floor. He was very discreet in telling a young girl, but she said she didn't speak English so he told another staff member.
Our party of 4 were given chips & salsa. The chips were hard and flavorless. The salsa was very good!
We ordered 1 burrito, 1 chicken fajitas, 1 molcajete and 1 enchiladas. The burrito was not good. Very plain and dry on the outside and not very flavorful on the inside. They forgot the sour cream that was supposed to be on the side. See photo. Very plain.
The molcajete arrived sizzling hot and smoky. What a fun thing to see! It smells very good. The veggies and meats were cooked well. But it didn't have a whole lot of flavor. Just every bite tasted the same and it was OK. The fresh avocado was a nice touch, but it wasn't ripe. It was hard and when they aren't ripe, they really aren't flavorful.
Overall, it was OK food. Not sure it was worth the $38 for the molcajete & burrito only.
We didn't have silverware after the food arrived and had to ask for it. We didn't receive the right side dish and had to ask for the right one. We never got visited again to ask for more water or to ask if the food was good while eating. We were served, then forgotten until the bill arrived.
It was not very busy so that was not a factor.
We tried it. I think if they improved the welcome and attentiveness we would have come back. It wasn't a meal we would rave about or crave though.
Plenty of parking. Space to eat was clean. Tables and menus were...

My wife, step daughter and I came to your White Lake location this afternoon for an early dinner. We arrived approximately 4:40 PM. There was another couple that I held the door for as they entered and the 3 of us. They were seated to the right as you walked in; we were seated to the left and around the back side of the bar. The hostess provided menu's and we began to discuss what appetizer we wanted and what we all were thinking for dinner. Time continued to pass. There was a bar tender behind the bar, an employee writing on a paint board while excessively shaking her paint pen, another employee sitting at the bar on her phone and a fourth who appeared to be a busser or bar back. We sat for approximately 8 to 10 minutes. There were more employees in the bar than patrons. Finally; I had my fill and suggested to my bar manager / bar tender wife we find a more suitable place. She agreed that it had been far too long based on how 'busy' the place was and we walked out. Upon walking out, I inadvertently dropped a brand new bottle of Habanero Tabasco and made a mess by the entrance. I apologized to the staff and am sorry for that mishap. My wife noticed the couple I held the door for had their cocktails and what appeared to be chips and salsa at their table.
Your staff performed very poorly. My family and I then drove to MEX on Telegraph. We enjoyed a fantastic meal, great service and overall positive experience. My tab was $95 with a $20 tip added.
This is not a ploy for a free drink or app if we come back in. We won't be; just wanted to give you a heads up there is in an issue.
Best of luck.
An Unhappy First (Last)...
