If your looking to do a remodel and need to order cabinets or carpet, do not go here! Every experience I had here was the worst. I will definitely never go back here to order anything else for my home. First time doing a remodel for my kitchen, i go to the cabinet section to ask about ordering new cabinets and the sales person just looks at me and asks me what i want to order. I have never ordered cabinets in my life so i asked how does it work, what do you have how do i select. She just looks at me again, she basically was not trying to help me i had to keep asking her how do i order what is the pricing, how do i select. She obviously had no sales experience because what should have happened from the start was her explain to me the process of ordering and offer me different selections that were available based on my preference. We finally ordered what we wanted and it took 4 months to get it. This was back in November. Fast forward to now, we go back try to order new carpet for a bedroom and again the same thing happened. It took 40 minutes and 3 different people to come to us only to tell us we first need an appointment for them to come out to measure before they will even do anything. No one helped, no one offered to tell me what carpet was available, what the pricing could be, what the options were that we could choose from....nothing! Just a waste of my time. Then the last person who came to us had an attitude like we were disturbing him. Smh...all he said was nothing will be done until they come to measure because they wouldn't accept our measurements. Read moreI recently had an amazing experience at Home Depot that I feel compelled to share. On the first day of school, I found myself in a bit of a crisis. My ring had slit my finger, and I was unable to get it off. I was in a lot of pain and really stressed out, not to mention I didn’t have the time or money to go to the ER.
I decided to stop by Home Depot, hoping they might have a tool that could help. To my surprise and immense relief, a very kind man working there immediately offered to help. He carefully and skillfully cut off my ring, freeing my finger and saving me from what could have been a much more serious situation.
I am incredibly thankful for his assistance and the outstanding customer service I received. The staff at Home Depot went above and beyond to help me out in a time of need, and I couldn’t be more grateful. Read morePlaced order online for $300.00 merchandise. Went to check out and it prompted store pick up or deliver. I picked home delivery because I don’t have car. Charge would be $35.00. No choice so I said OK. After check out received confirmation email which stated only two things for home delivery and three other items for store pickup. Customer service person couldn’t understand. Finally I said cancel everything. Was told couldn’t cancel home delivery because Already in process even though it had only been15 minutes since order was placed. They would credit me for home delivery charge. Delivery confirmation said they would text 30” before delivery. They didn’t. They rang doorbell and by the time I got to door, they already pulling out of driveway. Left giant box bigger than me and heavier than me against my door. Fell while trying to get it inside. (I’m 74 YOF). Called customer service and they showed no cancellation of delivery fee. Couldn’t enter into system. Have to send to management....
