Subway — Restaurant in White Lake Charter Township

I want to start off by saying I used to work at Subway for 3 years (different location) so with that being said, I know the proper protocols and procedures that take place. I’ve gone to this location twice since the new owners took over and upon ordering, she did not wash her hands and she even went as far as to use the same gloves to make my sandwich, that she just touched money with. I had to personally ask for her to change her gloves again. Please don't be afraid to speak up if you see this happening, as it is against Subway policy and unsanitary in general. I asked for it to be “lightly toasted”, they toasted it completely. Also, I fully understand the importance of “upselling” (asking for a footlong instead of a 6in. Double meat/cheese, cookies, chips etc) but forcing someone to say yes when they already said no, is unacceptable. A customer ahead of me was forced to buy a footlong when she reiterated that she wanted a 6in. The woman just said "this is better for you" and continued making the sandwich. This location needs to be heavily audited. Or even a secret audit to see how business is run on a regular day without the staff being prepared...

First it's a subway in Walmart, typical, but the fact they are about 6 or 7 dollars more expensive than another location why I couldnt tell you, I called another subway, on Williams lake and asked their price, only 15 bucks for the same exact meal I got there at this location for 22 dollars. Sandwich wasn't cooked after going through the toaster, cheese wasn't melted and bacon wasn't even touched by the heat. Italian herbs and cheese must've sounded like wheat when I asked for my bread, and then I asked for ranch and they started trying to put mayo, and then actually put the garlic aoili on my sandwich because I asked for ranch? Took ya three tries to grab ranch and them the other employee had to grab it for ya. All in all save your time and money and got to the Williams lake location, they'll take care of you properly and cheaper. Not coming back again. As you can clearly see in the pic its wheat bread not Italian herbs and cheese and also you can clearly see my bacon and UNMELTED CHEESE anyone else ever have unmelted cheese from subway on a hot sub? Sandwich was actually still cold when I got it chicken...

Unless you want to be told what you to get, and when you tell her what you want, she makes what she thinks you should have anyway, then avoid this subway at all costs. I don’t know if she was a new employee, but it takes a lot for me to write a bad review. i read other reviews of the same thing happening to them (on yelp I think). I did reach out to the company to tell them what happened, but they responded with “sorry for your experience, but we are always trying new things”…. like forcing customers to get more expensive items by placing them in an awkward position at checkout when you didn’t know they added it or changed it to begin with? Poorly ran, obviously. Don’t waste your money, and go to the one down the...
