This store is very clean and staff is very friendly. I like the organization of the store also. There is a military discount with ID on Mondays and each day of the week there are different sales, or different sales for different groups of people (seniors on Wednesday, students on Thursday, etc) Donations are accepted Tuesday- Saturday 10am-5pm. The store is open for shopping Monday- Saturday 10am-8pm.

Big store with a lot of different shopping options. Mens, women's and children's clothes plus so many more random different things you can find. Different days are deals on certain tag colors. Lots of parking and never seems to busy when I have been there which is a plus.

Lots of clothes. I really wish they still did the 10 for 5 color tag clothes on Sat. But not today I guess. I know other stores that do tho, so I'll note that for further.

Prices are still incredibly high. $12 for a plain tank top, $2 for a halloween item from dollar tree, and i believe it was also $12 for a cute long-sleeve. Just because something like abercrombie and fitch sells good online for girls doesn’t mean that a thrift store should sky-rocket the price up. Would’ve bought it if it were a reasonable $3. Newer employees are very unprofessional and loudly gossip. Store is incredibly dirty everywhere, don’t even dare use that bathroom it looks like you will get a disease, not even joking it’s worse than a motel bathroom a junkie does drugs in. I can’t believe all of the workers haven’t quit yet due to the cleanliness conditions because it truly is the worst/dirtiest establishment i’ve ever seen in my whole life. I wouldn’t be surprised if they don’t even have cleaning supplies, i genuinely think they don’t clean anything in there at all. I’ve noticed they price women’s items a lot higher than the men’s. Not only are the women’s clothing outrageously high, the knick-knacks are too. $6 for a little figure? $40 for used plates? Ridiculous. At this point they are pricing items higher than resellers online. Looking up items and pricing them based off overpriced resellers is insane, if i see something popular online and it’s $15 at the thrift store i am not buying it. So just stop at this point and price them normally. There is no way someone can justify selling a Walmart $3 tank top for $14. The workers have no clue what they are doing, rarely anyone at the register and when there is the girl acts like she isn’t working there and has no spatial awareness and walks off instead of taking customers or it’s someone who’s just rude and clearly hates their job taking it out on everyone. Lower the prices. Whoever is pricing items SO high even higher than their retail price needs to find morals and think about the families who go here because of low-income. I swear no one here knows how to work retail. Oh, and the dressing room locks barley work and they don’t have a ceiling which is very scary to be in, who knows if a camera could be turned this way. CLEAN THE STORE AND LOWER...

Do not support this mess of a store. The most overpriced Sal Val store I’ve ever seen.

14.99 for a shrunken banana republic worn out sweater with no special fabric content. I brought this to the attention of the cashier and how they have Walmart brands that you can buy new for the price they have their stuff at. The examples are endless. The cashier goes “it’s probably a good brand”…

Banana republic Chicos American eagle Talbots The limited

MALL BRANDS…. They mark up mall brands. Fast fashion crap material clothing… they mark it up… and they consider so many mall brands “boutique”… what? lol why though?

On top of this they take all their actually nice items and put them online… like this store is the worst of all the salvation army’s I’ve seen. Great job being part of the problem! so many clothes CONTINUE to end up at land fills. Do better as a charity organization.

And before you bother to come at me with “it costs money to keep an organization going” no duh. You have literally quadrupled PLUS in pricing in the last YEAR. Did you accordingly give all your employees a raised wage with the current inflation? Highly doubt it seeing how they’re severely underpaid anyway. So where’s all that money going? YOURE NOT SELLING AS MUCH BECAUSE OF YOUR GREED… you could be making a real difference but you’d rather mark up sweaters shrunk and worn to the end of their clothing life by a fast fashion mall brand to have it sit and sit and sit to be rotated to the landfill because nobody will pay what you want. Like it is seriously shocking what yall are trying to charge....

Around 3:45pm today, 12/19/2023, I drove into the line up of a couple of vehicles making their donation. I waited as the attendant slowly unloaded the cars ahead of me. My turn approached and to save the attendant a few steps, as he was going into the building I yelled out my window that I would like a receipt. He didn't grasp what I said so I repeated it. He then went inside. I opened up the hatch on the back of my vehicle. A moment later he came out the door and told me that they have too much stuff and can't take mine now. I asked, "You can't even just take the bags out of the back of my vehicle?" He said "We have a lot to go through." So, I said, "I'll have to donate somewhere else, then." He went inside. I shouted to the lady waiting behind me that they are too full so that she didn't waste any more of her time. She didn't hear me so, I repeated myself. Then, as I was closing my hatch, the attendant came out and told me, "If you are going to act like that you can leave." I told him that I was closing my hatch and telling the lady that they are too full so that she doesn't waste her time either. I then proceeded to park and go inside to let the manager know. It is appalling for a so-called Christian organization to treat people like that. Apparently they don't need my donations! I will find a better, more worthy cause to donate to. I advise you to...
