I’m beyond grateful that I made the decision to enroll at Ohio Media School (Columbus). From the very beginning, I was welcomed into a supportive, engaging, and inspiring environment. The instructors are exceptionally knowledgeable, the atmosphere is positive and motivating, and the curriculum is both dynamic and hands-on—keeping me excited to learn every single day. A special thank you to Mr. Bufford, whose leadership and high energy kept us sharp and prepared. The administrative team has been incredibly helpful and transparent in guiding us through every step of the program. I also deeply appreciate Mr. McClendon for his willingness to support us with projects and Mr. Dell for sharing real-world industry insight and providing valuable hands-on experience. I loved my time at OMS so much that I returned for the Film Emphasis program with TJ Cooley, affectionately known as my “film dad.” His mentorship was truly life-changing. TJ not only reignited my passion but also helped me sharpen my skills with industry-level guidance and integrity. If you want to learn from someone who lives and breathes the craft, TJ Cooley is the hidden gem you're looking for. Today, I proudly own multiple companies, including Accentuate Lyfe LLC, Dutch Fest LLC, and my own Media Center, where we host THE FREQUENCY RADIO—a global station dedicated to unsigned artists around the world. Our film production team operates with professional-grade equipment and collaborates with companies like School Boy Films (as Producer), 1st Block Labs LLC (as a Film Writer), and The All Purpose Center (as Community Engagement Specialist). Our podcast, “WHY UNSIGNED ARTISTS MATTER,” continues to expand its global reach and elevate independent voices. From Record Label Director to Media Guru and Public Figure, I can say with full confidence that Ohio Media School didn’t just give me a career—it gave me a purpose, a platform, and a community. I’m forever thankful for the experience. ❤️

At 44 years old, I finally found my “niche” in life. I went back to school to cope with the loss of my parents and auntie. I had specific goals in mind. I wanted to get off SSD to better the quality of my life. Also, I wanted to set an example. I wanted to show my children the importance of education. M&S Media schools has accepted me for who I am. With continued patience and kindness from my instructors, 2 yrs. later, I will be receiving my associate degree soon. I decided I would go further. My interests grew much greater and wanted to help others the way my instructors helped me. I decided to further my education and dream big. I signed up for Full Sail recently to go after a bachelor’s degree. I want to thank M&S Media Inc. for everyone who continued to allow me to be involved with school during my struggles. None of my instructors gave up on me. I feel important and confident in any role I decide to accept in the future. I plan to give back, in the future, upon receiving my degree. I want to be a volunteer at our local high schools with Entertainment Arts. I have future goals to be a designer. I also would like to have my own retail store one day. I’m mediatric. I love all things media and with this competitive position in life, I feel that I can change the stigma. The only competition is me, myself, and I. I am the Jacklynn of all trades. Thank you again, Ohio Media of M&S Media Inc., Dawn Marie

When I first started at the Ohio media school I had no idea how much it would affect my life. When I started I just wanted to enhance my film making career. Now I’m a 2X graduate with an emphasis in sports broadcasting. Thanks to Adam for encouraging me to pursue this new passion, I have unlocked a skill for the tricaster! I never even thought I would be able to develop my skills as a director/producer but here I am! When I started the sports emphasis program I knew that I was in great hands to learn how the sports world ticks. I was able to direct a hockey championship, the NFL draft show hosted by score on air, and several Hartley basketball games. That’s just a few of the amazing things I did while a student in the sports emphasis program. If you’re thinking about starting your journey in broadcasting, even in film, I highly recommend the Ohio media school and the sports emphasis program. Currently I’m working on promoting the ASWA wrestling shows and my score 30 episodes! I couldn’t have accomplished any of it without the help of Adam, David, and Bob at the Ohio media school! Thank you all for believing in me and helping me achieve greatness!!

My experience at Ohio Media School was incredible, thanks entirely to the dedicated and supportive team of instructors. They create a learning environment that is both challenging and incredibly supportive. Each one of them brings something unique and vital to the program, and they all deserve individual recognition:

Brea is a phenomenal instructor whose passion for the industry is contagious. She has an incredible talent for breaking down complex concepts into understandable parts and makes sure every student is following along. Her energy and positivity are a constant motivator.

Charles is a wealth of knowledge and provides incredible, real-world context to everything we learned. His insights from his professional experience are invaluable. He is patient, thorough, and genuinely invested in seeing his students succeed both in class and in their future careers.

Anthony's support and expertise were a cornerstone of my learning. He has a great way of explaining things and is always available to offer guidance. His dedication to his students' growth is evident in everything he does, and he fosters a truly collaborative classroom atmosphere.

Arthur brings a fantastic energy and deep expertise to the program. His guidance was key in helping me grasp the practical skills needed to excel. He's encouraging and knows exactly how to bring out the best in his students.

Larry has a calm, assured presence that makes him an excellent mentor. His technical knowledge is vast, and his thoughtful, constructive feedback helped me refine my skills and build tremendous confidence in my abilities.

Jae is an absolute powerhouse of knowledge and inspiration. Her real-world experience adds a layer of depth and credibility that is unmatched. She challenges you to think critically, advocate for yourself, and strive for excellence in every project.

Raheem is a fantastic and supportive instructor who is deeply committed to his students' success. He is always willing to go the extra mile to explain a concept and provides great encouragement that makes you believe in yourself and your work.

This team is what makes OMS special. They are more than just teachers; they are mentors and champions for their students. If you're looking for a school with instructors who are genuinely dedicated to your success, look no further. Thank you...

This school do have Sean Anthony as a professor so that is a plus and he is a great teacher for broadcasting, but If you want to be a artist , this not the school for you. This school showed me a recording studio, I was told that we could use the equipment!!!! Then after the Student loan went through,I was told you have to graduate then come back as a recording engineer??? , After I was accepted to this school the students that graduated before us, come back as a teachers aid aka IA,telling me that this is a waste of time if you are not trying to be a radio personality! you can just come up to the school and network with the students that coming out of the building going to the school. So this school have a great structure for radio.Don't let the recruiters tell you just anything. Everyone start in the same program no matter what you want to go to school for. They do have a video course that we spent a week on setting up a tripod to sit a camera on? what this school is teaching you, can be learn for free if you go to youtube and watch a self help video. So the trick to this school is they put you in a crash course then when you graduate then you can come back and pay for the recording engineer or production course, aka the things you really want to do. The school is not the problem, the instructors isn't the problem, The recruiters that give you false information that the problem.I was in school for 3 weeks, they kept telling me to login to my online classes??? There was no classes in my account online for 3 weeks, I told the recruiter that this isn't for me that i want to leave, I have no online course for weeks. She kept telling me it's ok the online courses don't...
