V&V Appliance Parts — Local services in Whitehall

Both of my college-age daughters were home from college with loads of laundry, and my dryer decided to die. Making it worse, it was two days before Christmas. I searched the internet for replacement thermal fuses, but it would have had to wait for shipping. I called around and Appliance Parts Center had one in stock. I bought it the next day and installed it into the dryer. That got the dryer working, but the heating element wasn't eating. So I took the heating coil and thermostat to the Appliance Parts Center, and they had both parts in stock! They even tested my old parts to ensure they were indeed bad. I installed the coil and thermostat, and voila, dryer is back in business. I was very pleased with my experience and would recommend...

Went in needing a cold control for my refrigerator . They had the part in stock which was a big plus! Everywhere else I checked in central Ohio said "I can order it and you will get it in a couple days ". But that wouldn't help the couple hundred dollars worth of groceries I had in there. He asked if I was installing it myself and knew what I was doing. I said "not really but time will tell. He then brought up a video he found on how to replace one on my exact refrigerator. Went home and replaced it myself .He easily saved me a couple hundred dollars buy not needing a repair man. I didn't get the name of the guy I talked to and don't know if he is the owner or what? But probably the best customer service I have...

Great experience. Great hours. I called ahead to see if they carried furnace parts. I went to several other providers, none of which would sell to the public. The last place I stopped recommended V & V Appliance. I brought in a picture of the part to make sure I could communicate my exact needs. BOOM! Got the part on a Saturday, mid morning. Good to go. They guy even offered to test the old part to make sure it needed to be replaced (and was causing the problem). Only thing is, I did not bring the old part with me, just a picture of the part. "No problem, just bring the old part in BEFORE you install the new... just to be sure (if you want to).

I decide just to replace the old part.
