We love this theater. The big chains around the area could learn a lot from them. First great prices on food and tickets. Super friendly staff with smiles on their faces. I never ever feel like I am “making” them have to do their job. They are super efficient in getting. You your tickets and food. The owners are super friendly and you can usually see them there. One time my boy dropped about half his popcorn on the floor and the female owner came by and tossed it and told the staff to give him a new one. Some people refer to it as dated but I prefer nostalgic. It reminds me of how theaters were when I was young. Just because it’s older doesn’t mean they don’t keep it clean. They do a great job. Their seats in the main theaters are fine. The smaller theaters are not as great but still work. Their screens are bright and clear and unless you are an audiophile you will enjoy the sound just fine. We have been coming here since 2008 when we lived in Fairmont. We have lived in Morgantown for many years now and skip the big chain theaters near us to come here. Even if they were to raise their prices a little because of things costing more that would still be fine and still cost less than other places. I feel like my dollar matters more to them and the cost savings matters more to me and my family. Excellent locally owned theater. Prices are VERY reasonable. Tuesday is matinee day all day at $5 per ticket. As a senior I get a dollar off the regular price of $7. The staff is very friendly.

Concessions are all very reasonable, as well. My wife and I took 3 grandkids to the movies today, we all got popcorn, drinks and candy and I spent about $50 for all of five of us. Try that at a chain theater. It would be twice that.

The theaters are older, but comfortable, with good Dolby Sound and clear projection. Also, and I love this, the advertised starting time is the actual time the movie starts so you don't have to sit through 20 minutes of previews and commercials. I prefer this cinema to Carmike or Hollywood any day. The old-school charm of this place makes me feel like I'm stepping into the 1980s, and I mean that in the most endearing way possible. A fifteen minute drive from Morgantown, the money you save in tickets and refreshments will by far offset your gas money. It may not have seating that feels like you're in your recliner at home, and they don't have gigantic screens, but the warm, welcoming halls and theaters make for an enjoyable and comfortable experience.
