White's Fine Jewelry — Local services in Whitehall

I have been a customer of White's for years, though after my last experience I won't be coming back. My wife wanted a stone set in a new ring. We went to White's and my wife selected a ring she wanted. I was a bit shocked by the price but can't say "No" to her. They had the ring for a couple weeks when they said the stone wouldn't fit. So we selected another ring. A couple more weeks later they said the second ring wouldn't work either. So we cancelled it. They gave us back the ring a week or two later. Overall the whole time spent was 9 weeks. They gave us back the ring with the stone removed. Then said it would be $50 to $100 to set the stone again. So we waited 9 weeks to get back a ring that was in worse condition than when we started. At that point I was done with Whites. Here is the kicker, we started shopping around for a new jeweler and come to find out we were paying WAY to much at White's. We were able to get a much nicer ring for the same price and it will be ready in two weeks.

I was looking for a specialized piece that I knew would have to made custom (a white gold ring with purple sapphires). I called a few places to find someone willing to help make it happen. Not only did Jann from White's get back to me to find out more about what I was looking for, but she also went above and beyond to learn about my wife's style and preferences in order to pair the ideal setting with the ideal stones. After going back and forth over the course of a few months, and even going as far as ordering multiple settings just so I could see them in person and keeping in contact with me through the whole process, we finally put together a great piece that my wife immediately fell in love with when I gave it to her on our anniversary.
