BUYER BEWARE!! I bought a lawnmower from Cash N More Pawn and after ONE day it has completely fallen apart. And I don't mean figuratively, I mean LITERALLY. Three wheels and the push bar fell off the mower at the same time while I was mowing the yard. And it wasn't like I was mowing a hilly 40 acres. I was mowing a completely flat, little sliver of a backyard. I called and spoke to the owner Brandi and she told me there was no extended warranty on mowers. There was never any mention of that when the mower was purchased. I explained that I had just bought the mower yesterday. She didn't care. Now I'm stuck with a broken mower, a half mowed yard, and I'm out $50. I guess they'll take any broken piece of junk off the street. So I'm livid at this point. I called The Texas Association of Pawnbrokers, The National Pawnbrokers Association (both of which they're a member, but probably not for long), and The Better Business Bureau to report their fraudulent and unethical business practices. Peggy at The Texas Association of Pawnbrokers was very nice and very livid after I had emailed her the pictures of the mower as well as the "receipt". I use receipt loosely because what business in 2017 has generic, handwritten receipts for high dollar purchases? Makes absolutely zero sense. So she immediately took my complaint seriously, unlike Brandi, and directly emailed the board with the information. So in conclusion; if you're a junkie in need of a fix and have no money, just take whatever broken item you have laying around and they'll be sure to take it off your hands. If you're a hardworking person who is looking for quality items to buy; RUN! Do not buy anything from them. I honestly don't know how Brandi and Michael Morrison sleep at night, I in good conscience couldn't. I can only think that they don't have one. Either that or they have a really comfortable and expensive mattress that they have bought with ripping people off.
Edit: As you can see from the response of the owner, they still can't and won't accept responsibility for their shoddy products. And now I see that they just let anyone related to them use products that are for sale for their own benefit. Completely irresponsible. I'll be sending this reply back to Peggy that is with The Texas Association of Pawnbrokers. Since now I see that they are lying to the public. None of what they said is true of the purchasing process. And I recorded that conversation with your wife, so I know what was said. So much lying going on. Shame on you...
Read moreIf I could give this place 0 stars I would. Twice within the last two years I pawned a 10k ring I bought for about $2500. They would only loan me about $330 each time and would not negotiate/budge on the lowball offer. These were vulnerable times for me so I accepted the offer. I went to EZ Pawn off Seymour Hwy and received over $1,700 for the same ring. I would not recommend this place [Cash N More Pawn& Jewelry] to anyone.
(edit): Owner came on and said it's a blatant lie. Good thing I kept my receipts, once I find them I'll post the pics...since I'm lying. Instead of taking accountability this is what you choose to do. Wow
(2nd edit): So I found the original purchase receipt from zales showing how much I paid for the ring. I also am uploading the agreement I have from EZ Pawn. I cannot find the receipts from Cash N More Pawn & Jewelry showing the $330 they gave me (I'm assuming I threw them away after I received my ring back). But I know for a fact that info is in your system because you were able to match it after you tried to go even lower the second time I came in there to Pawn my ring. So what am I blatantly lying about? Only reason I'm even posting this is because the owner had the nerve to call me a liar. That lets me know about your character. I'll make sure to leave this review wherever I can and share it with friends. Have a Merry Christmas :)
(3rd edit): Owner came back and deleted his response. As shady as it gets. Good thing we have email. Once on the internet, always on the...
Read moreI sent a friend to see how much they will pawn a gun this particular gun cost $300 plus tax new out the door at cabelas had 3 manufacturer magazines. He was offered $75.00 not a penny more so knowing this knowledge I went to buy a gun same model but only 1 magazine they were asking $299 plus tax. I knowing the cost of the gun and what they offered for a gun just like it with more magazines asked if the manager would go down to $250 out the door and it was a no. So they are high on pricing with no wiggle room when selling. But on other items you can haggle a bit. Now new gun pricing is about par with others I have personally purchased 3 firearms from this place but leaned to check pricing at other places. Note taurus magazines for that particular firearm is $39.99 each At any online retailer so if you check the math it's better to buy new at cabelas or academy just cause it's used doesn't mean...
