Lonestar Bar — Restaurant in Wichita Falls

This place is a good place to hang out with friends and the drinks are cheap. The bartenders are amazing. However, the DJ is not the best.That is the only downside. They have a request QR code, but the DJ doesn't even accept songs MORE than half the time. I think the DJ is trying to cater towards the younger crowd, but is having a hard time finding a good medium between that and the older crowd. I think if they could actually take song requests, not play popular songs at 10pm (when the crowd is not even beginning to form), and listen to what the people on the QR code are saying, more people could come and have a good night out. Sometimes a song will play and no one will be dancing on the dance floor. Also, some songs just are not meant for the club (Love by Keyshia Cole). It's good to have an algorithm, but if it doesn't work, then you should probably listen to what everyone is...

This place charged me and my friend to get in I paid for beer and everything (after the woman bartender finally acknowledged us wich cut her tip) I barely managed to sit down before they were kicking us out over something my friend had done at another establishment not even there where we were and even said we were not allowed to finish the beer I paid for and we’re extremely hostile toward us even threatening to call the police over something that had nothing to do with the establishment so someone took their personal feelings into a business decision and created a lot of fuss for personal issues I’d give negative stars but that’s not possible do not recommend this place unless you are looking for drama otherwise I suggest avoiding it like the plague very poor place...

If I could give zero stars, I would. Absolute disgusting establishment and overall horrific experience. If you want to be harassed by security from the moment you walk in for absolutely no reason, go here. Not sure if the worst part was the creepy old owner demanding to meet him outside so he could teach me the rules of the dance floor, or the verbal, borderline physical, assault we received from “security” while just waiting for an Uber. How this place maintains customers while calling them retards and racial remarks is beyond me. Either way, stay far away...
