My experience here today was absolutely horrific. I have been sick for days and all I wanted was some pizza. I decided to try delivery since I always pick up and it was a horrible idea. When I initially ordered my delivery time said 45-55 minutes, then it moved up to 86-96 minutes and still no delivery in sight. I called the store three times and finally got through to someone. The manager in the background rudely told the girl that they “only have 3 drivers” and I asked her if I should just cancel the order and be refunded or come pick it up myself. She asked me to hold and I could hear someone in the background rudely talking to her and making it sound like it’s my fault for not waiting. I finally just told her I would pick it up myself and talk to the manager. After driving up to the store, I was met by the manager like it was no big deal. I first asked who the person in the background was talking to the girl I was speaking with and he said it was him and she’s new so he was directing her. Well, simple and plain, she did nothing wrong but try to calm me down, he elevated the situation and was unprofessional in speaking to her and speaking about me and my situation. I then asked how long my food had been sitting in the window and he said “oh like 30 minutes or so, but it’s in a hot box so it’s fine”....hands me my food and I look at the receipt and said “okay since I’m picking it up should I at least get the delivery charge reimbursed?!?” And he was like oh yeah okay. Then handed me my receipt to sign and walked away. I got home and sure enough the food was horrible, and I threw it all away. I will never go back to this location and corporate will be contacted. The store manager here really needs to get his stuff together, act more professional, and treat customers and his employees the way they should be treated. Read moreI love Pizza Hut's new pizzas! And since I live in the country they don't deliver to my house. So when I moved to Wichita Falls to work for a few months I was excited to have that option. After long work hours I would order at least once during the week and sometimes on Saturday nights. EVERY time my order was wrong somehow. At first they just forgot to bring the 2L I had paid for. The delivery guy rolled his eyes at me when I mentioned it and 20 min later brought it back buy. No big deal it happens, right? The next time my pizza was completely wrong. The next time my wings were thrown into the box, no fail, so all the sauce soaked into the cardboard box. So I called and told the manager and she reassured me they were working shorthanded so she would take care of it. So no harm, no foul. The LAST time I ordered the delivery time was 2 hours. I thought it was a mistake so I called to confirm. They only had 2 delivery drives so I told her "no big deal I will pick it up" because I had my heart set on that skinny pepperoni pizza with spinach and balsamic vinaigrette sauce drizzle. So I pick it up and head home and go in for the kill.......cheese pizza. And that my friend is the straw that broke the camels back. I got back in my jeep and returned the food and got my money back. This time I emailed my dissatisfaction to corporate which resulted in an email from the manager asking me to "Please call me before complaining to corporate next time." Read moreI have had decent service from this location in the past. However, My meal was ordered for delivery at 3:52. It was supposed to arrive no later than 4:52. I'm not normally a worried for time person, but I had to be ready for work and out the door by 5:30. I even gave a 10 minute grace period. Nothing.
So I called up to the restaurant to ask what was up. First, I was asked to be put on hold before I even said a word. I was placed on hold for 3 minutes, just dead silence. Then the call was picked up by someone called 'John'. No last name (wasn't expecting one) but I have no knowledge either of if this person was a manager or otherwise. If he is, he REALLY needs to further his training in terms of customer service.
I found him to be very rude & condescending. His only defense was that they were busy. "As youcan hear, our phones are constantly ringing". THANKS, I really had no clue you were SO busy. You're a restaurant. I understand that you're busy. HOWEVER, I'm also sure that for this busy time you must have someone working on minding orders for delivery. If not, then that really is poor management on your part.
It takes all of 2 minutes to call a customer & state that there's a delay. COMMOM CURTEOUSY. But instead, you want to leave it & then treat the customer like it's just a loss for them. Here's the impression I got from 'John': 'Sorry, you're just gonna have to deal w/ the fact that your stuffs late, not my fault. I have no say in it. Maybe you shouldn't live so far away.'
