ALDI — Local services in Wichita

Stopped at this place after church for some quick picks for the up coming holidays and spent 2 hours there!!! GREAT PLACE -- one stop shop!!! I found some excellent Christmas gifts the prices were GREAT and the store was AMAZINGLY CLEAN!!! Nothing like my college days visits to Aldi's. They even had a HUGE cage where I found some boxes; they don't bag your grocery's or even supply sacks for your grocery's but boxes are even better and don't break open if you over stuff them!!!

Check out lines can be crazy long but checkout goes VERY FAST. They have a Scan and Dump method (scan the item and toss it in the empty cart) but my checker was even careful to "organize" my items according to gifts, food, cold, cleaning thus making boxing MUCH EASIER!!!

This place will be my new weekly normal grocery stop!!! It's like a mini Walmart in a small box and the isles are even better marked and items are easier to find! If your not looking for well named brand stuff this is the place to go!!! Although I did find some Downy Unstoppable for $8.29 and usually at Walmart the same container is $12.97.

Of course they may not have everything you need I was looking for Worcestershire Sauce and they didn't have any so I tried their Steak Sauce in my meatloaf recipe and it was perfect -- even better than grandma's...

I am almost afraid to say how much I enjoy shopping at Aldi. I love a good deal so I walk out of this store every time feeling like a winner. It might take two or three visits before it feels completely comfortable to you but it is worth the deals. What is different about Aldi? You bring your own bags to carry your groceries home. You bring a quarter to put in the cart so that you can borrow a shopping cart and get the quarterback when you rtn the cart. They have many items but they certainly don't have the kind of stock that the big giant stores have but that's okay because what they do have is specially priced. There is a small produce section and I'm usually very impressed with the quality. They have the cheapest organic chicken in town. Milk and eggs are cheap too and just as good as anywhere else. They have Take and Bake pizzas for five or six dollars that are outstanding and very popular. They are tied in with Trader Joe's I've heard so they often have good expensive cheeses and Specialty deli meats for outstanding price. You can buy a giant bag of jasmine rice for 1/3 the price of regular grocery stores!! It takes a few trips to figure out what products you think are dynamite but it is worth the effort. Once you start coming here it will be part of your weekly shopping stops. Does not open...

Their service is very good, especially the food items are fresh, the price is relatively low. Although the items are limited, but overall they are very good service providers. I love their collection of fresh vegetables, and also fruits.Their Cara cara oranges are in top of my favourite list,as these are so sweet and have distinct flavour,their little cucumbers were my must purchased item,but once i got moldy cucumbers, so it is necessary to check them before buying.Their condiments are so good,Specially Burman's tomato ketchup,Burman's BBQ sauce, ranch. I must mentione their Beaumont instant coffee is worthy to buy.Their dates are delicious. Also salty or saltless roasted peanut.Mini muffins were cost effective, and convenient as snacks. Unfortunately, we found their milk have near expiration date.Whatever, i like their butter and cup yoghurt.
