I have never left a negative review but I feel like some constructive criticism is needed. I have always loved Taco Shop's food, that is not the issue. For dinner my 4 year old says "I want tacos" so I go to Taco Shop to get us all some tacos. I pull into the drive thru and start to wait... and wait. After 10 minutes the line still hasn't moved and I can't leave the drive thru line because someone has pulled in behind me. Finally after 14 minutes the line moves. Then another 10 before it moves again. By the time I get to the order window it's been 40 minutes, and now I only have an hour before my kid's bedtime and still no dinner. I order a 12 pack of tacos and get told "we don't have anymore taco shells. We've been out of them. I can still get you the tacos but we don't have any shells to put them in." That's Taco Shop's go-to alternative? 12 balls of meat, cheese, and lettuce wrapped in paper? I respond with "Do you have flour tortillas you can put them in? Like a soft taco?" "I'm not sure, lemme check and see." Maybe I'm being unreasonable but if your name is Taco Shop and you haven't been able to make tacos then I expect the staff to at least be knowledgeable about alternative solutions. After waiting 40 min just to order, I can tell you that a wrapped up ball of meat and cheese is not a great first alternative. I mean, surely I'm not the first person to have this problem tonight. By this point I was very frustrated, and I didn't want to ruin my Friday night with my family by waiting another 30 min to get a bunch of cheese-meat balls. Luckily there's a bail-out point where you order, so I was able to leave and go to Taco Tico, which took 10 minutes. I can understand supply issues, but if you're going to have a drive thru that blocks you in, coupled with completely insane wait-times, maybe you should put a sign up that you're out of the one thing everyone expects you to have? And maybe make the shell-less taco your last alternative,...

Taco shop 2/3/2017
I apologize for the length of this review, trust me you will want to read it all.
As I was walking into taco shop today I noticed a worker at the candy vending machine out front buying candy, that itself is not any issue, my concern she was doing it with Vinyl food service gloves on twisting that handle, that you know so many kids that of had runny nose is have touched.
I thought to myself surely she did it because she planned to take the gloves off, as she returns the food prep line I never saw her change gloves.
She put the candy that was in a small dish next to the microwave I saw her repeatedly reach into the ditch grab candy and stuff it in her mouth I observed her gloved hand touching her lips multiple times.
Kansas is currently number one in the nation for flu like symptoms.
These food service violations I’m sure are not helping that at all.
I actually took a video of her stuffing in her face and plan to send it to the health department on Monday.
I can’t tell you how many health, food service violations I observed there today
I uploaded a screen capture of her stuffing her face, not sure if it will get posted.
Org review—I'm all for a clean environment, but when their scooting tables and chairs around loud enough to disrupt you I'm not a fan of the three stars as opposed to five food you could just come here when...
Read moreI've only been to any Taco Shop a couple times before this visit, and today was my first ever visit to this location. It was also my first time ordering through the drive thru at any id the locations. The person taking orders wasn't exactly rude, but he definitely wasn't friendly... kind of like the line if cars elapse around the building on a Sunday afternoon was an inconvenience. Service was slow... twenty minutes from the time I entered the drive thru lane until I had all of my items and could leave. I ordered two cheese nachos, a cheese quesadilla, a beef quesadilla, a packet of sour cream, two drinks, and an order of cinnamon delights. When I got to the window, they handed me my drinks, and 5 minutes later, I got my food. I pulled around to leave and checked the bag as I did. No cinnamon delights. Went inside to get them, and it was another 5 min before I was handed a bag with three whole cups and a bag of crumbs. My beef quesadilla was full of olives and tomatoes, which it wasn't at the last location I visited, and nothing on the menu board indicated that it would come with either. Very disappointing as I don't like either and had to pick through my food before eating it. Thankfully, this location is not the one I'd normally go to. The other two locations I've visited were awesome! I love the flavor of their taco meat over other...
