Last night was our first time at funcity and we had a lot of fun! What we liked: The vibe in here is great. The music isnt too loud, and had great variety. We enjoyed how the place was set up. You keep finding more to do! We were there on friday night and it was pretty dead. Which was AWESOME! Unlike urban air, where u have kids and parents basically on top of eachother and crammed in. This place was wide open and loads of space. The first area we found was the massive ball pit playground for kids under 6. My 5yo LOVED IT. There are a ton of balls, and slides and all sorts of stuff for climbing and running around. Then they found the HUGE tube slide thing. Omg they must have gone down it 100x. They go up these stairs and a worker helps push them down. Which i noticed ppl want to complain about in the reviews, but come on thats the best part! My boys absolutely loved it. Bcuz they really slid down quick. That is so cool and i hope complainers dont ruin it. If u dont like it dont go down it Up next to that is a steep and terrifying slide into foam. My boys also loved that lol. Very thrilling. And they said it doesnt hurt, but as an adult ill just watch lol. We made our way back to the trampoline area after that. I liked how they dimmed the lights and made it a very party Atmosphere. My boys enjoyed trying to make it across that rolling tube (and trying to spin eachother off). Next to that is another ball pit with a sort of obstacle course thing. Swinging balls and ladders. Very fun. But i guess some kid did pop one of the balls. I hope it gets fixed. Behind that is a massive foam pit w diving boards. It is hard to get out of if ur wearing pants that are loose lol. Make sure u leave ur phone out of ur pockets. Then they have a bunch of trampolines. Again it wasnt busy so it was super fun playing on those. Next to that they have the running trampolines for racing, very cool. A couple basketball hoops, again something broken. 1 was taped off. Still cool. The dodge ball arena is super cool all closed it. We had it to our selves and that was great. But there was only 3 balls. Not sure if others were taken. We went out back to the front area, the rope course and climbing walls were only open when ppl were there to work them. So we didnt go on those. I saw them open up but we were having wo much fun we missed it. No biggie we have more to do next time! We could have done them had we wanted to when i saw them open. They have a smaller little kid ball area thats very nice. And a soccer court that looks like fun. We also played in the arcade which had some fun games. Very expensive though. 7 credits min for each games a bit high. I did see down the clown was broken. But they had a snowy version of it so thats cool. U dont get much for your tickets and u dont get many tickets for the games. But thats how arcades are typically. My boys still really enjoyed it. Overall we had a lot of fun and i def can recommend this place. We will be back. Oh also they have a bunch of massage areas over where it is pretty dim. Thats awesome. Great for parents who had to walk those tubes up that slide 100x lol.
Now the reason i didnt give it 4 stars even tho we had a blast--- The main thing was the heat. It was way too hot in there. It was cooler outside. I dont even think the ac was on. Everyone was pouring sweat, which isnt ideal for a foam pit. No drinks allowed past a certain point so it can be hard to keep kids hydrated. (They dnt wanna walk out to the tables lol) It needs to have some sort of air going in there. Esp as summer gets hotter. Also it is very expensive. Which i understand its a lot to keep up. But it is 28 a person for 2hrs. So it is a special occasion kind of...

My 8 year old daughter requested this place for her birthday. She had a great time only because I wasnāt going to let a bad experience ruin her birthday.
This facility is ran by children is the first impression I got when walking in. If these arenāt children then their work ethics are comparable to children. So we checked in, was told they needed to clean off the two dedicated tables before we can start setting up our party. Itās 6:05 at this time, and our party started at 6. Shortly after I was told they have another party and did not realize there wouldnāt be enough space and that we will just get a room instead. Get in the room and we start getting kids situated with wrist bands and socks, and at this point itās like 6:30 when the kids start playing (the package is 1 hour play 2 hour party). I asked the host when does our pizzas (ONLY two comes with the package) and juices come? She says in a hour she will call our party to the room when itās time. I wanted to order more pizza but said I couldnāt change the order and that it needed to be ordered 2 days in advance, but we are able to order at the front and bring it to the room. (Literally mind blown) To add, they didnāt have our order right as I ordered 2 pepperoni and juices. She says that I ordered pepperoni and cheese and water. She wanted me to show proof of my order so she could tell her manager(shows email) She says unfortunately the manager you were in contact with was fired and didnāt relay anything to us. Again, she says they are unable to change my order to the CORRECT order because that order was already submitted. In return they offered a 10% discount but I can pay extra for juices up front and bring it back. Which is silly to me because giving me the juices would have been cheaper for them then the discount. š¤·š»āāļø I asked if we were going be able to jump longer due to how late we started and she said that we would have to pay extra. š
Tip: Bring your own extra food and drinks if needed for your guests. Youāre allowed to, but they donāt tell you that. Check in 45 mins earlier so you donāt lose time.
Towards the end our host comes back, and Iām not keeping track of time but she says Iām not trying to rush you but your party time is up but you guys can still jump since we paid extra. The receipt was time stamped! Itās not even 8 yet(our package is 6-8) when you give us the receipt?? š¤¦š»āāļø
Now itās time to pay. Final cost $593.13. I go to pay and they forget to take off the 10% discount but already ran my card. Supposedly shows on their end that the payment didnāt go through so they were wanting to run my card again, but this time with the discount. Checked my account before giving her my card again and showed her payment was pending. Manager (I assume it is being she is the only one capable of issuing discount and because she never properly addressed me as one) says she can give us credit vs a refund since the payment went through. I told her I was never coming back so Iād prefer the refund. Although she was apologetic for the turnout her demeanor showed otherwise and no courtesy whatsoever to address me at any time during our party. She also had the audacity to tell our host I can go to her if I have a problem(wouldnāt even know who I would be looking for), but in response I said she can come talk to me and I would like to talk to her(never came). The refund has still yet to show on my account.
The trampoline area had blood stains, and the restrooms had no toilet paper in any of the stalls during the whole time of our party. We didnāt get no help with set up (which comes with package too)
This is my SHORT version of my experience...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe concept it's great! My kids had fun. The employees suck though. Bad attitudes. It's an inconvenience for you to ask them to harness you up or take the harness off because they are yoo busy gossiping about "Jackie". I had to ask twice for one of them to unharness my child before they put their bag of chips down and stopped talking about "Jackie". The front counter lady didn't advise me we had to wear stickers. She just handed them to me and went back to talking to her co-worker about something, so when my children wanted to go down the slide I had to get tickets reprinted.
Like I said, great concept, the employees just suck. Horrible attitudes and too busy eating and gossiping.
ETA!!!
I will say however, we did have an issue with one of the claw machines in the arcade and let a different front desk lady know. She was EXTREMELY kind. She overheard my son tell me something about what he wanted for his birthday lunch that day and she was so kind as to offer extra plays on machines and an extra army man figure as a prize. I didn't catch her name but she made the comment that she used to be a preschool teacher after I told her how she was the kindest person we had met there all day. I feel awful for not asking her name but she should know, as well as you, how she absolutely made his 8th birthday by letting him play a little extra and grab a small extra army man. That kind of employee is irreplaceable in my opinion. She alone will be the reason we will...
