They were the absolute best! When I sat down for my first consultation, I was worried about whether or not what I wanted would be possible and how much it would cost, but I did my best to describe it and I showed her a picture of a dress I liked that was similar. She asked questions along the way for clarification, and then, with just a few pencil strokes, she drew my dress, the one I had been dreaming about since I was a little girl.

Nine months later and she had turned those pencil marks into the perfect dress. It was comfortable, flattering, stylish, elegant, and it fit me like a glove. I wanted to wear it forever.

During the process, she was a great support as well, asking just the right questions and correcting any issues. My dress, even though it was custom made, had to be let out twice and had to have the hem redone. But as soon as I said that something felt off or too tight, she knew immediately what the problem was and fixed it within one fitting.

Oh, and I should also mention that her prices are very reasonable; I paid the same amount for a custom made dress as I would have at David’s Bridal for a dress off the rack that I would have hated. Do not think that a custom made dress is out of reach financially!

Finally, my only regret is that now that I’m married, I’m moving out of state and will not be able to come to Vanya’s again. I will definitely send my little sister there though when she...

I'm posting this a little later, but things have been busy since getting married on the 17th of October and buying a house. That being said, I want everyone to know that I believe Vanya Designs is full of some of the most caring people you'll ever meet. It may be a little bit more on the pricey side, but the price is justified. Their service is top notch, and you'll always feel like you're their one and only customer every time you visit.

They're an hour away from me, and I had visited them a handful of times to get my suit tailored. It was coming down to the wire, and I felt like I needed some more adjustments made to make my suit fit perfectly. So, my wife (fiance at the time) contacted Vanya Designs to let them know what we wanted done. We were loyal customers to them and they showed us that they appreciated that by making my suit's last alterations at no charge to us. I didn't get to try on my suit until the day of the wedding, but it was PERFECT. All I can say is thank you so much for everything; it really made our day that much more special....

Alicia is incredible. She turned my dress from a lace up back into a zip up with a button overlay. It turned out exactly as I imagined. I was having such a hard time finding a wedding dress I loved until I discovered that all lace up backs could be changed to zipper with buttons. For some reason my mind was set on a button up back. I was still skeptical once I purchased my almost perfect lace up gown. I took it to Vanyas and described what I wanted done. My eyes welled up with tears when I saw my button up back for the first time. My dress was finally, “The One.” Thank you Alicia for making my dream come true. Not only did Alicia make my wedding dress perfect for me, but she also created a dress for my mom from scratch. She drew up the design, purchased the fabric, and crafted her a beautiful navy blue lace dress. My mom loved it of course. Alicia and her team can make you anything you dream up. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Vanyas Design! And by the way, there is no one named Vanya that actually works...
