Antojitos Guanamex — Restaurant in Wichita

Place has an amazing vibe, food, and service. Love how they are taking COVID-19 serious by wearing masks while helping customers in front and in the kitchen, even wearing gloves for Pupusa making. We had the enchiladas, shrimp cocktail, Nachos Guanamex, some caldo de res (beef soup), a tasting of some Pupusas Revueltas and some fried yucca and chicharron. By far my favorite was the Guanamex Nachos, loaded on a big plate with all the fixins, with your choice of meat. Definitely pick up the ensalada drink, it's refreshing and addictingly fruity.

Definetly deserves a 5 star rating, this restaurant makes sure to give you homemade food every time. With the fresh homemade thick tortillas served with soups, that shocked me or the homemade soups. Everything is made to order and you can taste it, especially with the pupusas that come out hot and fresh.

I've been craving papusas for a while now. Hard to get to the place on Seneca, so looked and this place came up. The beau is a fan of new places, so we gave it a try Saturday. So good we came back Tuesday. They were super busy (it's a small place, but popular!) and short staffed. Don't think they expected to be that busy at 2 on a Saturday, either. English was not widely spoken, but that's not why I went. My Spanish is good enough to order and say please and thank you. The food...that's why I go! SOOOOOOO good. I had chicarron papusas and a bean/cheese one - INCREDIBLE! Saturday, the beau had an asada burrito - AMAZING! I'm not a beef eater, but it was tasty! Today, he tried the carnitas burrito. We decided that it was super yummy, too, but what made the asada so good was the beans. Will go back...

Did not get any of my order correct. My first order was 2 cheese and 2 beans and cheese pupusas, What I got was 0 cheese, 1 beans and cheese and 3 pork. Which I don't eat!!! My second order was 1 cheese and 1 beans and cheese. What was given to me was 1 beans and cheese and 1 pork. Are they trying to get rid of their pork?? Not to mention they were rude. I asked for 2 orders not for my 2 orders to be placed in the same containers! Will NEVER recommend...
