I like the staff and store. However, I trusted the recommendation of a store manager today regarding fluid type for our car's transmission. I knew it was a Mercon type for a 2014 Fusion but I forgot on whether it was the Mercon L or Mercon LV. After looking our car up the manager said we could use a Dextron 6 which I know is mainly for GM. I took his word and after purchasing fluid I got home and verified in our owners manual Ford recommends only Mercon LV. Unfortunately this added time and another 1hr of round trip travel to my day which I wasn't happy about to purchase the correct fluid. My biggest concern here is the possibility of transmission damage due to using the wrong fluid which could have happened. Transmissions are extremely expensive and damage can occur when using improper fluids. Look your manual over or google it yourself to double check before purchase. I always use O'Reilly when home. Visiting Wickenburg from Florida, my truck was dragging when cranking. I searched and found a local O'Reilly. I stopped in and Ernie tested my battery, showed me the tester that indicated my battery was going bad. I bought a new battery, Ernie loaned me the tools, I replaced the battery with Ernies help. I pulled an airbag wire loose and Ernie helped me make a quick repair of that wire. Absolute professionalism, amazing customer service, was treated like I belonged here. Nice friendly people, but garbage parts, every other job that is done on my truck has to be done 2 to 3 times because of faulty parts, the last part that my mechanic bought from them was the metal tube that connects to the water pump has a pinhole in it , the seal for the thermostat was cracked and leaking to, this was all in one job, lucky it did not blow the motor when I drove to New Mexico and back, they would be buying me a new truck, this is the part they sold me, it's like they tried to jb weld a hole in the pipe that was no good, then painted it to look new, just look at the inside of this pipe with all the...
